Vaccinated or not

Everyone seems to be forgetting:

There is no foolproof way to tell if someone's vaccinated if you're in the U.S.

The only "proof" I or anyone else can offer is a handwritten little CDC card that a 10 year old could forge.

The only person you can be certain is vaccinated is yourself.

Actually, if you have gotten your vax, they also write the batch number on the card.

This can then be verified using third-party vax passport services.  They issue a unique identifier which can be traced back to your batch number, as well as the paperwork you signed and submitted when getting the shot.

Totally foolproof, no.  Nothing is totally foolproof.  But if you do it right, it's pretty damned close.

In all of this discussion, I also agree that protecting one's self is paramount.

I'm just playing devil's advocate because it makes discussion more interesting :)

I’m curious if this forum has rules against Prep/HIV misinformation.  If so, should there also be rules against Covid vaccine misinformation?

I don't recall seeing anything in the rules about it - but never fear, I will keep you honest by channeling Dorothy from the Golden Girls!  The rules do warn about trolls... 😉

NYS issued downloadable app-based QR code for your phone that you could not get until 14 days post full vaccine dose. It actually was 15 days because I tried to get mine two weeks post second Pfizer shot and couldn't get it until the following day. Some places are scanning the codes though most just accept you showing the image and a photo id. The only info on the image is your name, birthday and the 6 month period post vaccination. It is easy to block out your name and birthday on a screenshot using any basic image editing app.

I know someone could share images with others, but it's better than nothing.

Good morning.  Do you want an escort who has been vaccinated or it does not matter if they have been vaccinated or not?

Since I'm re-entering the area of being with people, I only want to be with an escort who's been fully "vexxed!"  Just last evening I sent my go-to-escort in San Francisco a message at RM.  In it I asked him if he's been vaccinated.  He responded to my query, but he did not say whether or not he's been vaccinated.  When he write to confirm his time, I'll ask again and request that he bring along his vaccination card.  I'll show him mine when he shows me his.  If he has not received the vaccination, our anticipated, hot session will not occur.

Don't care if he is vaccinated or not.  Happy to tell the truth about my status if I'm asked, but not to provide proof.
