Bristol, on the other hand, reminds me of a Saturday evening spent in the Hotel Upscale de la Anchorage (can't remember the actual name, but it was supposedly Anchorage's Finest) when I visited there in late October about 10 years ago. Turns out it was the last leg of the famous annual Iditarod Race which ends in Anchorage. Anchorage's Finest hotel was hosting the Miss Iditarod Pageant and Ball. Over the course of several hours of watching the Parade of Participants, I realized I had truly stepped over into the other American Frontier. I saw men with beards of all sizes, shapes, and colors, and I saw women with beards ...

 

I saw them ballroom dancing like it was the 1890's, I saw them lounging in the pool and hot tubs, and I saw a few walking naked down hallways. The men pretty much looked normal. But the women ... x(

 

Even a healthy helping of reindeer sausage at breakfast the next day couldn't erase the memory of so many butt-ugly women. x(

I was just going to post the same thought---I don't know his name but he is definitely HOT to me--maybe because I am closer to his age than either his son or his prospective son-in-law. For a 44 year old man, he is certainly nice to look at---great smile, great features, and sigh,,,,a full head of hair. I've heard that he is a fisherman during the fishing season and an oil rig worker during the rest of the year. It would be fun to have his face and body around for the next four/eight years, at least.
