The only 2 experiences I can relate date from 18years ago. First, a young BelAmi type (sexually versatile, ripped muscled body) working in London was lured there for an all-expenses paid vacation and $7000 a week. I warned him but he was so tempted he didn’t think clearly. As it happened, he got stiffed…not in a good way.

 

Was it a scam? did he end up in jail?

 

Second, my venereologist (now dead) was highly renowned in London and he told me of having to repair a couple of the girls who were badly hurt (by a member of one of the ruling families in the UAE) - he told me that usually the women were hired after dinner and when they left in the early morning, the gay male escorts arrived to take their place.

 

I'm not surprised about it. Maybe hitting them was seeing as part of the "deal" but they didn't know. Fucked up!

Yup polygamy is widely practiced there. I believe a man is legally allowed to have 4 wives at a time. Not a provider, but a hobbyist. I’ve been to Dubai a number of times on business, and while my observations are purely anecdotal, I can also say I’ve never seen/encountered any problems, thankfully.

 

Dubai, indeed the whole of the UAE, is a very different place than I would say the majority are used to. Yes, there are some aspects of Sharia law but by and large, if you’re modest, circumspect, and respectful no one is going to bother you.

 

People are cautious - both ex-pats and locals - when discussing anything homosexual. There’s almost a throwback to the secret code gays used decades ago in the West to suss out who was, who wasn’t. I was fortunate enough prior to my first trip to have a friend there who kind of guided me, introduced me to other gay men, and other hobbyists. This most certainly helped me navigate engaging in this hobby.

 

In terms of providers, as said above, what can’t be normally found there tends to be most popular. Also, throughout the whole Gulf region, bodybuilding is huge, so big, thick muscular bodybuilder types tend to do well too. Those guys on IG aren’t traveling to Dubai for the shawarma.

 

I’ll even go one further, I’ve also been to Riyadh - where things are much different, and far stricter than the UAE. Yet, even there, there’s an underground of sorts - no providers, but just gay ex-pats and locals getting together. I’d wager the whole plan the Saudis have for Neom on the Red Sea will develop into something like Dubai or Sharm el-Sheikh or a hybrid of the two.

Many of the guys I follow on IG seemed to be in Dubai now/recently so that prompted me. I didn't know if this was the "season" to visit or if there was some sort of OnlyFans/porn actor convention. They all had glamorous shots from the word's highest pool, luxury hotels, etc. but nobody was mentioning why they were there, naturally. I'm probably leaning towards not going until I've got a travel buddy who knows the drill there or a verified host. Part of the lure is the danger but I'm not stupid.

Dubai is an interesting bubble to work in. I've been both 'brought in' and have gone on holiday there, solo.

 

As in most instances, the Dubai market caters to a look they don't or can't easily get. While a predominant amount of that is the tall, chiseled, all-American look, it also extends to good looking Black and Asian guys. Emiratis love visual beauty. They want a model muscular frame and a jawline that can cut glass.

 

It sounds as if you're wanting to travel there independently, set up shop and work. I would not recommend that. The real money (and safety) is from having a local fly you in. Dubai is not a strong city for an independent escort, as facets of Sharia law make it difficult to advertise.

Another issue with "setting up shop" in Dubai that I've observed: agencies control the local escort landscape and do not appreciate competition, and will go out of their way to harass, frustrate, or even report an independent visiting escort to the authorities if they feel like you may be a threat to their business. If you are there on vacation or being flown in by a client, this is much less likely to be an issue than if you "set up shop" locally. There are definitely ways to work around this, but it can definitely be nerve-wracking to be messed with in a country whose legal environment and culture you don't fully understand. I'd happily go back to Dubai but it's not a great place to just casually tour and expect it to be quite like anywhere else.

For all the comparison to Las Vegas, I can understand why. I don’t even like to tour in Vegas without a confirmed client arrangement. I went last month, arrived at 10 p.m. and was out of there by 3 am. It was just a Friday night stop on the way elsewhere lol.

 

But I’d imagine Miami is probably the closest “Dubai of America” just off top of my head. Except for rich Saudis, it’s rich South Americans.

Travel restrictions are a little rough right now, but I'd go to Spain, Greece, Italy. I guess it's starting to get hot there now maybe but I really enjoyed my time in Valencia years ago. Definitely would love to return as soon as I can.

Dubai is like Las Vegas of middle east. It’s a market mostly for skinny fem white twinks like myself whose clients are the real locals (emiraties). But lately the market is oversaturated and clients are flaky, less reliable and lots of timewasters wanting free pics. If I can recommend try Qatar. These things are off limits there, much more than in Dubai so people pay way more. I charged 800$ an hour. But I’m the thing most locals (people with the most purchasing power) want! A skinny fem smooth twinky boy. I did have a client who was a member of the qatari royal family. Had a blast!

One more thing, here in the USA we write dates differently, we say 5/17-5/30 and not the European way which is more common all over the world.
