I had been hearing about this nude gay strip club opening at 14th and K for a couple months and today Alex Grant (I imagine he's stripping there) texted me that the no-cover Sunday brunch was starting and that on Sundays ZO (pronounced "zoo") would take over all 3 floors of Archibald's, where it normally operates after 7pm in Archibald's basement. I guess they use straight club Archibald's nude strip license. (that may be weird in the VIP rooms on 3rd floor!) The owners are 24 and one was a bartender at The Dirty Goose gay bar on U Street.

I think the ZO basement is open most days at 7pm but I don't know if it shares the 3rd fl VIP rooms with Archibald's except on Sundays when the whole building is ZO. IDK. If you know Alex Grant or any of the Brant's Boys guys I imagine Alex strips there. The place is 6 or 7 blocks from my house so.... Saturday night is packed at Trade and Channel 9 at 14th & P and at the Green Lantern 14th & L. This one is 14th and K.

Why do I feel weird about a nude strip and fetish bar that spells "Zoo" with a long-O instead of 2 O's, is run by a 24-year old, and possibly shares VIP rooms with a straight strip club upstairs? Those are old ads from when lockdown was harsh and they were just starting. There's a phone # on their main site.

Went by at 8pm Sunday. Closed. The sign out front of Archibalds says open 8pm Weds to Sat. Didnt try last night. Not sure whats up. Maybe it's only Sat 7-12? Alex Grant definitely works as stripper/ sex object.

Avalon Saturdays announced today on IG that they'll soon be re-opening. They're half-a block from ZO and have DJ's, drag shows, strippers, etc. with a NYC promoter (Dougie Meyers). Not sure if they do VIP's though as they have no nude club license. It could very well be connected with ZO if they're both Sat only and a half-block away. Here's old ads:
