A couple of days ago I went to see the movie "The Dark Knight." The primary reason was to see Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker.

Heath's role in Brokeback mountain was what started my interest in this extraordinary actor. The interesting thing is that nobody has ever raised the specter that Brokeback mountain was technically a "Bareback" Movie. The general assumption is that it wasn't.

In "The Dark Knight", the Joker performs a magic trick to make a simple, ordinary pencil to disappear in a rather macabre manner. Nobody is making a huge fuss of where the pencil went; The general assumption is that it didn't go "There".

Among other things I have a background in both Video production and Stage Magic. It is trivial for me to "Pull a rabbit out of a hat." It is equally trivial for me to "Pull a hat out of a rabbit." Does that mean that if I did that on stage that I would be promoting "Cruelty to Animals?"

Anybody with a Video background understands that if you don't see it in "There" it isn't. Anybody with experience with Magic understands that that even if you see it in "There" it's very possible that it's not.

The answer to the original question is simply: "No".

The answer to question that I found more interesting is: "Like Hooboy was, I am a voracious reader, Each day there are about a dozen different news sites that I cruise. Between that and tidbits that people send me, I usually have more than enough to share."

Regards, Daddy

Daddy, actually I did see some discussion of the "bareback" issue in Brokeback Mountain at the time of the release of the film. It was pointed out that the story (as in the short story itself by Annie Proulx) took place in pre-AIDS America. As such, guys using condoms wasn't much of an issue. To keep true to the story I guess Ang Lee decided he would let the sex scenes imply bareback action.

In a way, it's a bit like watching pre-AIDS gay porno which was also "bareback" but considered completely normal at that time (well, normal as far as gay sex was concerned!). }(

Lube is all fine and dandy but sometimes a little push and shove can be hot. Course I am speaking as an experienced bottom that sometimes like it a bit rough.

Remembering back to the 1970s, I can recall some very hot spit-lubricated anal sex... When the bottom is really fired up and stimulated by lots of foreplay - including finger-play with lots of spit -- it could work just fine. Oh, for those days to return :))
