My porn star Mount Rushmore post was lots of fun (Is Jeff Stryker really over-rated)? So I figured it makes sense to put your personal favorite masseurs carved on a mountain, your top 4. Each list should be personal to you, but it will be interesting to see repeat names on some of yours. Here's mine :

 

Bold Bodywork Brent (Las Vegas), Bearmasseur (San Diego), Massage By Matt (Colorado Springs), MichaelG (Las Vegas). Michael has the most skilled hands when I'm on my back, Brent has the most skilled hands when I'm on my front, Steve (Bearmasseur) has the most skilled [censored] when I'm on my front, and Matt has the most skilled [censored] when I'm on my back.

Well...this is awkward. The guys I would nominate from my limited experience were all part of the "Murray Hill Gang" in NYC. (No hate mail please - I know guys that take massages seriously will disapprove) They weren't pros, but definitely enthusiastic amateurs. It was fun and many of them were very memorable. I am not going to name any names since you won't recognize any - most of them were in the line of business for only a short time and then disappeared.

 

On second thoughts - I think that disqualifies them from being considered altogether, since they didn't make this a career. I take it back! ? ?

The problem with the Murray Hill Gang was that a lot of them were frauds and scams, I'm sure that some of them were good (I don't recall, but I probably tried some of them),but the whole thing reeked of FRAUD! This goes to show that one should never generalize.

Repeating it here (sorry for being duplicative, just trying to help out). It refers to the influx of Eastern European young men that all use massage space in the Murray Hill neighborhood during the past few years - they have a reputation for being good at marketing: great photos, make their abilities sound very appealing and fair rates... but when they show up, the person is not the one in the photo, quiet or cold demeanor, has mediocre skills and short change you on time. They can also be aggressive in terms of upselling - it is all about the quick buck. It's irritating, not dangerous - no need to be afraid, just be aware.

My first-ever massage was from Peter more than 10 years ago. It was a wonderful experience and I understand why he is on your list.

I used to see Jose in Wilton Manors/Ft. Lauderdale every visit. (Well-built Mexican with true skills & training) He seems to have disappeared. He had good reviews on Daddy's which I don't see anymore. Maybe it's been more years than I realize. Does anyone remember him?
