Meh. It was a dusty relic.

Awww, and I was gonna take you to Red Lobster on our FIRST date in NYC. ☹ Or maybe BBQ's ? Those "sticky wings" are perfect to bond over.

I suppose everything has a shelf life. I once witnessed a situation at the 21 Club that I have never seen in any other restaurant. Two men were seated at a table next to a woman sitting alone at a table next to them. After a time the two men and the woman began to have conversation. Presently, the men asked the woman if she would care to join them. The woman accepted their invitation, and from nowhere the maître d' appeared and advised them that their gathering was inappropriate and they would have to maintain their separate tables.

In my opinion, the 21 Club is totally irrelevant to gay people. My image of it is as a totally straight place. I couldn't care less that they have closed.
