Are detailed reviews coming back?

I've read escort reviews for a long time and noticed that during Republican administrations the review sites don't allow specifics in reviews. Its good policy since republican justice departments are more likely to crack down on sex workers (and porn studios). any chance we will be returning to detailed reviews? I remember when clients could use as much detail as they wanted and frequently gave beat by beat accounts of what went down. while i guess that's an issue for the escort's privacy those detailed reviews did give a great sense of the type of sessions the escort provided

Probably not until the SESTA/FOSTA legislation is abolished. The passing of which prompted, at least in part, the review's side restructuring and toning down of reviews by the sites admin.

You're only partly right. The Rentboy case was brought by the U.S. Attorney for the SDNY during the Obama years. Most of the policing and prosecutions have been under Republican Admins.

The review sites took a huge hit under Bush and then seemed to clamp down again under Trump. I know that under the bush justice department, they started enforcing porn regulations and had mostly religious young people watching porn all day long to find prosecutable offenses. lol. Always assumed it was sort of the same thing with escort sites. Maybe it was the rentboy case that changed the reviews the second time around

So long as the laws remain on the books (FOSTA and SESTA) without being revised, it's risky to have explicit reviews even if the present Administration isn't apt to investigate and prosecute the porn and consensual adult stuff. The reviews would have to be scrubbed with each changing administration or the next one that is looking to cater to the religious right will have the the details and be able to prosecute.

Exactly, that's what @laexecutive is asking.

 

I guess as posted before we need to wait for Fosta and Sesta to be changed. I doubt this SCJ would legalize escorting.
