i don’t know if it’s common practice. However, I think it really depends on the connection or relationship you have with the provider. If you have a rapport with the guy and have seen him multiple times then I think it’s ok. If it’s someone you just met it may weird them out a little (unless it was a monetary gift lol!)

Have I given gifts randomly to long standing providers? Yes. It hasn’t always been because of the holidays. I’ve given paintings and drawings I made to providers I’ve become friends with just because I know it will make them happy.

There is a small number of providers that I’ve become incredibly close with. So much so that our relationship/friendship goes well beyond a client/escort one. That small group gets a birthday or Christmas (sometimes both) gift each year. They in turn give me a gift (usually a Christmas gift) each year. One guy who was studying to go into the medical field hadn’t given me anything. He kept promising me as soon as he was out of school and had more disposable funds to expect gifts. He kept his word.

There have been a few times some of these guys have teared up because the gift was so specific to something they loved dearly. When that happens my heart just melts.

I have two clients that give me a cash gift around the holidays. I have another client that gifted me with Tesla stock, and one of my clients knew i had a thing for Ralph Lauren, and he gifted me a beautiful Ralph Lauren winter bomber jacket. I never ever expect gifts, but I am so grateful for them. I’m not close with my family so it’s extremely touching that some clients think of me enough to send a gift.

For those who can’t afford expensive gifts, know that it’s the thought that counts. I’ve never liked staying alone in hotels and I knew that one of my favorites was in town without his boyfriend, so I put together a care package for him - assorted fresh fruits, quality chocolates, specialty nuts, and a few travel bottles of holiday liqueurs. He was quite touched.
