I don't agree it's reasonable. I've met better looking porn stars (imho) who don't charge $450 an hour. However, if people are willing to pay what he asks... then go for it.

Terminology becomes important here. Pornstars as opposed to guys who have appeared in some pornflics are two different beasts. I find it hard to imagine a true pornstar offering rates of $225, even in these distressed times. Care to offer an example?

First, I think part of the reason you see some of these new untested providers with crazy rates because RM got rid of the rates on their site. There is no gauge as to what people tend to charge as a whole.

 

There is no defined range what a pornstar escort charges vs a porn actor vs a non-porn provider. There is no escort handbook. I have encountered pornstars/actors who asked for way less than a non-porn provider. I've also hired pornstars/actors who charged more than typical rates.

You are right, everything is relative and nothing is written in stone mostly because it's an unregulated profession and industry but I would say that there are ranges. I have experience with regular escorts and it can go anywhere from 200 to 300. 200-225 seem to be within normal range for non-porn escorts. I've never hired porn actors nor have I asked them what are their rates if I've ever seen them on RM.

I don’t remember if I read it on the forums, some place else or a combo of the two, but to my understanding he deliberately overstayed his work/travel visa last time he was here. He got caught and is barred from coming back into the country.

Is the $450 for ONE hour? NO WAY would I pay that for an hour. He used to advertise at $250 or $300 a few years ago. I don't get these escorts that are getting to be too old for porn raising their rates, if anything they should be lowering them.

 

A lot of those photos on his RM page are the same ones he was using a few years ago and who knows how old they were then.

 

I never hired him but met him about five years at the Grabby's. Him and his BF at the time (can't remember his name but another porn star he has since broken up with) were at the table next to ours and waiting on a drink at the bar and talked to my friend and me for a while and then we ran into them a few months later in a bar at Southern Decadence and he remembered talking to us in Chicago. Gabriel is definitely a lot different than JJ stats wise. Gabriel's profile says he's only 5"6 and I'm 6' and JJ is taller than me.

Ugh, yes! One of pet peeves in this whole game....porn “performer” yes there’s a zillion, porn “stars” are very few and far between. Think Jeff Stryker, Brent Corrigan, etc. IMHO
