His copy at one point said he had antibodies to COVID so I guess we are to assume he’s immune.

Caution: If indeed he is immune, it has not been established yet if those who have antibodies can or cannot still carry the Virus. Buyer Beware !!

I met up with him and he was a lot of fun! I was turned off initially by the high a la carte pricing and fees but I saw him on grindr recently and when we talked there he was much cooler and quickly agreed to a fair price.

We had a great time and he's a sweet guy. Definitely a repeat. ;)

Thank you @Hung_Cody for sharing your experience. Just the kind of information I was looking for.

He flaked on me once

lol, the escort now requests for deposit in advance and said that he has experienced flaky customers, what a joke ....

3) A few weeks ago, on a Wednesday, 5 guys canceled on me. And I hadn’t booked anyone else, because they were scheduled. That’s when I realized I needed this security deposit measure. What I offer is unique, and there are no other guys like me out there, so I’ve been doing a security deposit with every client ever since these 5 guys canceled on me. There are trolls out there who book just to not show up.

FWIW, I've had good communication with him over a period of time but i get the sense that he'll list cities that he's planning on visiting to see what potential interest there potentially is. (Which for the record is totally fine with me), but i suspect that if the cities are not close to where he is, that he'll wait until he has secured a deposit (as an anchor to his trip) from some future client before finally confirming that part of the travel schedule. So i am not saying that he would flake and/or would take a deposit and then not honor the appointment. I have no evidence or experience regarding that. But i am saying that when he lists future travel and you try to schedule an appointment that may be iffy if you're not willing to make a deposit.

“I’ll come to your city if you pay the way.”

Isn’t that just “open to travel?”

Yes it could be interpreted that way and i would have no reason to highlight that in a profile except if it were relevant to a poster's questions.

In this case the thread evolved a bit about scheduling appointments and whether to make advance deposits or not. I was pointing out that in my experience with speaking with him, (or an agent perhaps) that he had already publicly listed his travel plans weeks in advance and was already going to be in my city. So in this case the example you illustrate, (which i support), didn't apply.

For serious poster members who are genuinely curious to understand the fuller context of what formed my opinion feel free to PM

I was actually gonna meet him at his location, a second time technically I flaked cause i had some stuff come up. He gave me a public meet up spot, and told me to have the cash in an envelope and to lay it like on the table when we get to his place

So, in 9 pages of comments, not one actual in-person experience with this guy. Wow.

Substantially you are correct with i recall one exception on this thread. I believe that "hungcody" commented that he had met him a month or so ago. I have communicated with him on a few occasions but personally have reservations about his deposit requirements.

He is really nice and my phone call with him was fun. He is headed to Charlotte in November. I said we should schedule something. He gets specific on the time and date (in November?) and sends me a link for a deposit. What a turn off. I'll bet there is a no refund policy not matter how early you let him know. It was like dealing with American Airlines BEFORE the pandemic.

Thanks Beancounter. Great catch. I contacted 4 of ivyleaguehungvrs' "trusted client" reviewers, and ivyleaguehungvrs himself. Three of the 4 reviewers responded. All are enthusiastic in their praise of ivyleaguehungvrs' services. Ivyleaguehungvrs' Tumblr page deandpt.tumbler.com which he shows in his Rentmen.eu page, lists his rates, which are in the nose bleed area.

  • 2 weeks later...

It‘s been over a year since I’ve hired, but recently started looking again. So I’ve been out of the loop on him.

I contacted him, agreed on a time, and while I thought the rates were a little high ($780/2 hr), they weren’t *that* much more than what I’d pay for 2 hrs including tip.

Then I got the “deposit required” text. Some interesting back and forth transpired - nothing bad, all very polite and respectful. Out of courtesy to the provider, I’ll leave the details of that conversation out, but it did make me question some things. Ultimately, I’m afraid I’ll have to pass. He has his policies, and I have mine.

Sticking to your policy in this regard is probably the right thing to do - even if the reasoning seems kosher... ;)

Same experience with me as well.
