What are you doing about haircuts?

I stopped coloring my hair & beard about a year ago. I haven't shaved since March 13, my neighbor is begging me to keep the beard going until Christmas :-)

I consider myself blessed to have a full head of hair at my age. I confess to being a bit vain about it and have rationalized my expensive hairstylist. Now I am starting to look like I did in my High School and college yearbook photos.

I bought a pricey German-made Wahl on Amazon a few weeks ago. Turned out it was just a trimmer. Then I bought a cheaper Conair clippers set at Walgreen’s. While I haven’t tried the Conair yet, I’ve been using the Wahl around my ears and to lighten the sideburns. I’ll use the video posted above. Thinking of an overall 2, then a 1 for the sides and back. Basic military officer look.

Bald is the way to go....luckily I do it myself so looking pretty normal over here!

Just now I tried to give myself a haircut with scissors, and suddenly I realized: that was my father in the mirror looking back at me! I need to find a barber soon.

Georgia barbershops opened today. Masks, disinfectants and hopefully gloves. Personal trainers and gyms also open.

I'm definitely starting took more and more like early 60s Beatles. I can probably wait another month or so..we'll see. Might do the clippers thing too, though if I do, it'll be a straight buzz cut.
