Following a mildly circuitous path, I came across this comedian, Bruce Wolfberg, who died in 1994. I remember liking him back in the day.

Here's a small piece of his HBO One Night Stand from 1990. I thought it was still mildly amusing although some of the jokes might not be considered PC anymore.

He always annoyed me with his facial tics and expressions. Never found him funny. Maybe it was his insistence on being called by his actual name, DENNIS.

Ah, the '80s (and early '90s): A time when people still laughed at themselves (and others) without hesitation.

Sure, we've come far in some ways, but we've also regressed into a society that waits on edge to be offended and has allowed cancel-culture to run rampant.

So much good stuff from the '80s wouldn't fly today.
