This picture of British Sailors looks in style like it could be from London based Royale Studios. Basil Clavering who ran the studios used real sailors as his models. If true to form, this would be the initial picture, then would come a bit of bum spanking.

No, actually I'm way older, which made 1987 seem vintage to me.

However, the formal definition of vintage has a minimum of 50 years.  Your questioning my posting has maintained the purity of the thread.

For what it is worth (i.e., nada), his father Ozzie Nelson's childhood home was around the corner from mine, and he and I went to the same small public high school.

The beautiful model John Davidson, left,  with model Bill Deane.  John Davidson on the left is one of my favorite AMG models. Here he is showering with his session partner, as is often seen, in Bob Mizer’s shower. John was photographed by Mizer shortly before leaving for service in Vietnam in the 1960′s. He never reached there, but died en route of encephalitis.

One of my AMG favorites is John Davidson. I had not seen this picture of him before. You may remember he was the 18 year old who Bob Mizer photographed before leaving for Vietnam in 1965, but the poor lad died of encephalitis en route.
