Here he is showering with his session partner, as is often seen, in Bob Mizer’s shower. John was photographed by Mizer shortly before leaving for service in Vietnam in the 1960′s. He never reached there, but died en route of encephalitis. You may remember he was the 18 year old who Bob Mizer photographed before leaving for Vietnam in 1965, but the poor lad died of encephalitis en route.
