Hello everyone,

I celebrate the fact that forums like this one serve as a vehicle for expression and information. It’s been quite a while since I first started coming up in these threads and I am very grateful to both the people who run the forum and the ones who discuss (or quietly read) its content.

This isn’t the first time that I see comments that aren’t flattering or that describe an experience that was disappointing or even a negative one. It is important for me to see what is being said because I have over 30 very positive reviews on my rentmasseur account and one can become too comfortable with the flattery and the praise.

I agree that I have kept photos on my profile that are over 5 years old along with pictures that are as recent as last week. I should not treat these profiles as social media, as much as those pictures mean something important to me and transmit something powerful about myself that I want to share, they do not represent my age or current look. For instance, it’s been about two years since I keep a beard or a scruff and any clean shaven or boyish looking portraits of me should not be there since the chances of meeting me without a beard are zero. I have removed the old pictures and kept the ones that are recent. The most recent picture is the one with the bow tie (taken last week end in Costa Rica) and I also uploaded a few other ones from the last few months where I appear photogenic.

It is also true that I have been having a hard time losing weight. I’ve been struggling with thyroid disease for a bit over 4 years and there are periods of time where my weight drops at a normal rate and other times where it doesn’t. I am at the moment 12 pounds heavier than I would like, just to weigh what I’ve always been used to. I don’t worry too much because I know it’s cyclical and it’s really just my body adjusting to its capacity to stabilize muscle gain and fat burning. Im sorry if I disappointed or misled any of you into thinking I was a muscled fit guy, I never have been. I am tall with long legs and have a large frame, broad back and shoulders and large chest. A few times I’ve been able to get more than a central abdominal line but it’s mostly a tummy on the chunky side.

About 4 years ago, I had a masseur finder account where I managed to have almost 80 positive reviews. I have always been so grateful for those who take the time to do it. One fine day, about a year and a half ago all reviews disappeared, I was no longer the highest rated masseur in New York City. Eventually I was forced to close my account because I wasn’t a permanent resident of the US at that time and the website wouldn’t allow me to have an account anymore. Since then I have used Rentmasseur where I continue to accumulate positive reviews, a great deal of them during these past few months where I have not been at my fittest and not too long ago I reopened masseurfinder once again starting from zero.

I mention this because although I am not the guy with the amazing body or the youthful face, I continue to work very hard and I am recognized for my skills, my looks, my personality, my sensuality, and whatever else someone might see in me or obtain from me.

I do not ask for a higher rate because I offer the body of a model for someone to grope, it’s not because I offer sex, and it’s not because I cater to an elite clientele either. I do it because I know that I am an individual with the ability to give a legit therapeutic massage of any pressure you might need, consistent and on point and also possess an innate ability to become intuitive and passionate and truly devote every minute of the session to the purpose of the client’s pleasure and healing.

I do this full time, I see an average of 6 clients per day and I travel routinely to the same cities to visit regular clients.

this is my life, and those who have known me and frequent me understand this and value my time and my work because we click.

I don’t expect to click with everyone and quite honestly I wouldn’t have a minute to myself if that was the case.

This forum has always been a great way for me to find out where I can improve and what I’m doing right and what I am not. I thank everyone for your valuable opinions. I have removed and added pictures and will continue to shed the extra pound and will plan a new photo session to be as updated as possible since you all deserve it.

again, sorry if I disappointed and misled you, and also thank you to those who have been my clients from the start and the ones who have recently become regulars. And 1000 thanks to this forum! Sincerely. Kenzo

I have never seen such a heartfelt, sincere and deeply personal response from a masseur. This is what makes Kenzo the special person behind the masseur who truly cares about his clients.

Wow..... you average 6 clients per day....at $180 per client? That is $1,080/day. Even being conservative and just working 4 days/week = $4,320/week. ( and that is just 4 days....it jumps $1,080 each additional day) Even on just a 4 day work week that is $224,640/year. On a 6 day work week that would be $336,960. Mind boggling. Good for you, Kenzo.

Outstanding post!!!

Also very revealing. The fact that this good looking guy has been literally body shamed, for gaining a few pounds ultimately disgusts me.

What disgusts me more is that many of the people who are critical of his minimal weight gain, are probably the same hipocrites who cry “body fascism, ageism, and complain about the shallowness of men”, when they are on the receiving end of criticism.

Ironically, this man has probably been such a success, by providing massage services to a wide variety of clientele, even some who may be “chunky”, “out of shape”, or “not the prototype”, and for this, what he gets in return is a bunch of critiques from people who have the convenience of hiding their looks and bodies behind the anonymity of a user profile.

I hope this thread builds his client base significantly. I plan to book an appointment with him in the near future, just because.

Thanks for the support guys! And in no way am I discrediting anyone’s opinion, on the contrary, it’s really good to hear from the ones who didn’t find me attractive or not their type etc. This is what a discussion forum is. Please don’t let my presence on the thread become a reason to silence your opinions. I can take criticism.

I wish everyone a great week!

Saw him in Orlando within 6 months ago and looked enough like his photos that I knew it was him right away. Being a little bit of a legend here, I found him genuinely kind, very comforting and hospital without feeling rushed, from the start- til the end. I enjoyed my time with him very much and found Kenzo to be someone I would choose to spend more time with anytime. I felt like I got a good investment for the price I paid both physically and spiritually. In the South we would say Kenzo is "Good Stock".

In all sincerity, I have seen Kenzo, it was not worth $200. I have had better therapeutic massages for less than half that price. The next few days I was really sore. I can usually handle good pressure too. I could tell it was him, he obviously looked like himself, but his online pics were a little misleading. He was awfully nice and certainly seems sensual by nature but 100 percent not a repeat for me. I know I am in the minority here.

No one is "body shaming" him for "gaining a few pounds." We're pointing out that his posted photos don't reflect his current looks. He has admitted this in a previous post. (But I don't think he has changed the photos.) This happens all the time with providers. I wish Kenzo well - and he seems to be doing just fine - but pointing out this kind of thing is part of the normal functioning of this forum.

And what I’m saying is that the “Norm”, is hypocritical, shallow, and extremely objectifying.

Many of those people nitpicking service providers looks typically aren’t even in the league to judge shrek’s looks, let alone the guys many of you pick apart in these forums.

The nitpicking I witness on forums like this over a guy’s weight gain, loss of muscle mass, facial structure, teeth whiteness, hair thinning, and toe color cracks me up.

What’s ironic about the shallowness of this lifestyle, is that it’s not just the “A List” beauties who behave like mean girls, picking each other apart, it’s the undesirables too.

I’m certain that Kenzo doesn’t have to pay anyone to touch him... and look how down to earth he his. However, there are many guys who are shallow and judgmental, but will never see another man sexually, unless he’s on the servicing end of a glory hole....but has the unmitigated audacity to have “high standards and demands of beauty”, in others...

Give me a break.

Many of you change your tune when you are on the receiving end of criticism, for being to old, fat, busted, wrinkled, flawed, and marred. But the moment you think you have the upper hand to judge, what do you do? Tear another man apart....

Shameless and vicious.

I'm sorry, but those people "nitpicking service providers looks" are the paying customers, correct? I mean this isn't actually a boyfriend relationship, is it? Or is that how it's functioning for you?

Your position is very strange, and frankly, contradictory. If looks don't matter in this business, then why doesn't Kenzo have accurate pics? And as far as I can see, no one has insulted him, much less been "shameless and vicious." I think you need to calm down.
