Hey guys, I really need some advice.

So, I'll be in London from tomorrow until Wednesday and I wanted to hire an escort. I wrote him in August regarding this and we decided to get back to the topic a week or two before my travel (which was understandable). So, I sent him a message last week to tell him what I was looking for and to ask for his rates, but he didn't answer, even though he has read my message (at least rent.men says so). So, should I write him again, or just simply accept the fact that he has no interest in meeting me? I was even thinking about writing him on Planet Romeo, but I don't want to seem desperate. I mean I'm fine with not meeting him, I just don't like being kept in the dark.

And ther was another incident yesterday. There is this escort, who is supposed to be in London, and I also sent him a message about meeting him. He also saw my message, but then he blocked me. Or at least I think so, because his profile says it's inaccessible when I try to open it when I'm logged in, but I can open it when I'm not logged in. I guess it's because he is Hungarian and I'm also Hungarian. I have a feeling that he doesn't want to meet Hungarians because he is suspicious that it would be someone trolling him or something. In the end I sent him an e-mail without logging in to apologize if I made him feel uncomfortable (though I think I'm very respectful when I write to escorts). Do you have any suggestions how can I avoid stuff like this in the future?

Thank you in advance for your time and help!

I say move on.

Too many fish in the sea.

I suspect that you might be making this process all too complex.

Just send a text one week out to see if they're available.

If yes, send a follow up text briefly describing your wants (top, bottom, BFE, etc.).

If he responds in the affirmative, send a final text setting the date, time, and place.

More than that and you risk sounding too needy and like a time waster.

Emailing after you've been blocked is creepy. Don't do it.

Thanks for your input. Yeah, I guess you are right, maybe I am overcomplicating and overexplaining things in my e-mails. I will try to keep it more simple in the future.

I was in London last week..So many men to chose from..Depends on where you're staying too... I had a few ask (demand) an Uber.

I doubt very much most people get a paid way to work. If I can take the bus or Underground they can too.

About 180-200 Pounds is about right..

I hope you didn’t talk that way to them. Attitude is always a turn off.

My advice is the same as @nycman on this. Move on. I will reach out twice, then move on. To avoid it from happening, be clear and concise in your communication. I would never share too much (like the fact that you are Hungarian). That should have no bearing on the appointment. Specify date, time, location and what I enjoy from a meeting is usually plenty. ?

Are you serious...Sime guys are absolutely outrageous in demands...Why would I pay someone to come to me to be paid?...It's usually someone I wouldn't deal with anyway..BTW I met a few really hot men in London....and they all paid their own transport..I saw one guy 2 times and we went out to dinner....I treat everyone with respect and have impeccable manners....

He'll get paid to have sex with you!

I'm sure you have great manners and treat folks with respect but considering technology nowadays has made it easier being more proactive and nice why not ubering someone to your hotel. Consider it a tip if you want.

Considering so many escorts who make plans and don't show up and clients who ghost them... ubering someone to you is a sign for him that you're serious about meeting and you'll know he'll show up.

Why are you making such an issue about this subject? Some folks here in DC get Metrocards from their office, yeah some do get paid to commute to work.

Any service provider -- no matter what the service -- should want the client to feel they are appreciated and wanted. If they can't accomplish that in the conversation, it ain't gonna happen in the bedroom. Move on, find someone who seems as pleased to spend time with you as you are with him.

all good advice above......always be polite and friendly, but to-the-point and professional......don't be creepy......a very quick description of yourself might butter them up a bit.....ask them if they have questions or comments for you.......might want to hold off on the sexy preferences until the second communication just to be polite and discreet......don't associate any rate/money talk with sex, of course.......if all is a "go", be ready with a specific time and place early in the back-and-forth......

I'm sure you know all the above "rules" and followed them already!.......sorry it didn't work out with your London guy

Best advice! I usually get infatuated by one particular guy, but I realized that if it doesn't work through DM/meetings arrangements most likely won't work either once we r face to face. I may be wrong but I had my share of bad experiences with guys that were either pushy or destinterested and once we met, it didn't work. Newbie here. Still learning, but eager to master it :)

Just in case you can’t find anyone that you like, and who is available in London: if you need to bust a nut, walk into Villagiani (http://villagiani.uk/ , address: 32-basement, Nevern Pl in Earls Court) and checkout the guys that are available.

I very often find exactly what I like. You can walk away without shame if you don’t.

PM me if you want to know more.

There was a place like that in Vancouver, about 15 years ago. I think it was called the Blue Lagoon.

Thank you for the help guys, I'm moving on. It's just sucks that they wouldn't even bother to reply something like "Sorry, not interested".

Usually when I write them I introduce myself (name, age, body type - in case they have a problem with that), tell them what I'm interested in, and ask them if they would like to meet and if they would, what's their rate. Here in Hungary the laws are more allowing than in the US or other parts of the world, so I thought that this is fine, as they can get the full picture right away and they can decide instead of changing 3-4 messages and wasting their time. But maybe I should consider removing the "interests" part from the first message.

Well, I have a very typical Hungarian first name, and the guy had a Hungarian phone number on his profile, so I just thought, why not, I'll introduce myself by my first name (instead of my middle name which I only use with foreign escorts, because it's easier for them to pronunce). I thought maybe if he is Hungarian, he will be happy to meet someone from home. Obviously, I was wrong. :D I won't do this again, that's for sure.

Thanks again, guys, fortunately I have some other options, so I think I'll still have some fun. Or at least I hope so. :)

I was going to say the same thing. Villa Giani is a great place with hot guys and no worries about flakiness there. But also I visited London this summer, and it was teeming with hot male escorts. I don't think you'll have a problem finding someone. There are a ton of ads on Rent.men, Planet Romeo, Friendboy, Sleepyboy and even just on Grindr. Go to areas like SoHo, Earl's Court, Paddington, Mayfair, West End, The City and you'll see them on Grindr with little roses all over their profiles. I did find that many of them were also into pnp (or Chemsex as they call it), so just be aware of that in case that matters to you either way. I too tried to plan stuff beforehand and then when I got there realized that was completely unnecessary. You can definitely find a good escort and generally at a more affordable rate than in the States as well. .

Yes, escorts are pummeled all day long with emails and txts from creeps, flakes, drunks/druggies, time wasters and jack-offs (people who are getting off on the interaction alone with no intention of hiring). Time is money. Advice (since you asked): Get the deal done in 3 txts max. Txt1: Hello is this (his name), (your name) here. Love your profile. [this is to confirm you ate txting the right person B4 getting into details] Txt2: Hey thanks. Looking for the following: (describe concisely your scenario including location date/time), are we a match? Txt3: Thanks, sounds hot. Can you confirm your rate for (times)? If you stick with this formula, they will know you are for real and not one of the above. And they will be thankful you are being respectful of their time. A few more txts is OK especially as you get close to comfirm. Remember this is a business transaction not a relationship. You wouldn't call the car dealership 500 times before buying the car. ;)

Funny i feel your pain. I also am going to London (from LA) in a couple of weeks so i looked on RM for London based gentlemen. Ideally i would want to meet someone who is established in the industry and from time to time might also travel to the US in the future. The purpose being to establish a connection so it wouldn't necessarily just be a one time thing. I didn't go into any of that but simply asked if they ever travel to LA. One guy just simply opened the correspondence and then blocked me?? hahaha.

I was going to post a question to the community for recommendations in the European section about if they had some favorites in London and still will, but see that this post was pretty timely. To the original poster sorry for your experience.

The one who blocked you is a write off, forget him. You might message the guy who saw your last message one more time without seeming desperate. If no reply, just move on .

One has no idea what is going on in the minds and lived of other people. You may not be their highest priority at a given moment. Generally the professionals will get back to you to confirm or cancel, but not always.

I had this happen to me in Palm Springs with a well regarded escort from LA who was coming to PS for the weekend. We had confirmed twice. In the morning of our evening appointment I found his ad had changed form PS to LA. I messaged him and finally got a reply that afternoon that he had missed his flight and wasn't coming. It would have been nice for him to let me know. So it goes.

Stop speculating and hire more receptive /responsive providers. Simple.
