Met this guy while he was visiting Atlanta this weekend. Pics are real, except his body is better in person and I would say that he's not quite 5'10 as advertised. Very nice guy. He said that he does not do drugs and nothing made me doubt that. Non-smoker. He is originally from Spain, and his English is weak so don't be surprised if your text exchanges with him don't always comprehend. He is a bit pricey at $250 hour (he would not negotiate) for an in-call, and I'm not sure how far he will go since I never pursue any hardcore activities when I pay for a guy. Here we are three years later...$350 is pretty much the bottom of the market in NYC, $500, not unheard of, only the cheap guys complain. Inflation comes to everyone.

Hmmm, we're still seeing a lot of $250 from guys we've been in the past (maybe we're grandfathered in) and $300. Honestly, we've gone hire a few times for guys who were ridiculously hot and the experiences were not worth the price. I find guys who are more "natural" in physique, handsome but not Godlike, etc, tend to be better escorts in terms of communication, playfulness and sexual skill. 

But this guy is super hot, so I might go $350 for him but generally that's our ceiling. It's not about being cheap; it's about prioritizing how we want to spend our money.

Not to be rude...prioritizing how you spend your money is a polite way of saying you're cheap. That is not to say all guys are worth the price. Anyway there are lots of providors and lots of us, so something for everyone.

I have to respectfully disagree.  Everyone prioritizes how they spend their money.  Being cheap is being very reluctant to part with one's money, even for the necessities of life.

Yes, this is the point. Saying someone is cheap because they don't want to pay a 200% increase for a service in three years is just nonsense. If a plumber charged 200% more for fixing a pipe than they did in 2020, I think most people would think that was outrageous. Of course, the guys are dealing with inflation as are we all, so I understand a move from $200-$250 or $250-$300, but a base rate going from $300 to $500 in 18 months is a bit much. 

Of course, if they can get it, more power to them. But they are pricing a lot of guys out of the market, and - as I said - I have not the guys who want $500 to be better than those who want $300. YMMV, but I've had the opposite experience. The more they charge, the worse the service is.

In my recollection, the only time I have paid the "sticker price" on a item was on the occasion of a winter business trip to Moscow; the temperature was below breezing and my top coat provided no more comfort than paper wrapping. P.S. Had "Alejo" required an hourly rate of $500, I would have paid up with alacrity and delight as he provided exceptional service betweenst the sheets, a "costly" experience.

This price argument always revolves around one basic reality: NYC has its own economy.

Literally everything is more expensive here ...so an escort based in NYC likely pays far more rent than you guys do who live in the rest of the USA. So he NEEDS to charge more. This is his JOB. The average apartment in NYC is now $4,000 a month and some of you don't even MAKE $4,000 a month !

The median US income is $31,000; it's $34,000 in NYC. I assume most people here make more than that because they have disposable income to hire providers. And I assume most of us do not have the expense of children. Our income is MANY times that, but the juice still has to be worth the squeeze. 

Ultimately, for us hiring is a matter of convenience. We don't wish to waste our time on apps, and we don't hang out in bars or clubs much anymore. So the cost of hiring has to be worth saving that time. And for us that is generally going to fall in the $250-$400/hour range.

It’s not always about what one can afford, but rather what one can justify to oneself. 

Just because one can afford a vicuña top coat doesn’t mean you must buy it. Especially when a cashmere or chesterfield would serve the same purpose. 

It’s not about being cheap, it’s about being smart with one’s spending habits. 

I do echo @KensingtonHomo’s comments about the condescending tone of some of the comments on here. Those comments actually speak volumes about the type of person making them, than they do about the hobbyists they were rudely directed at.

I saw him recently and didn’t have a great experience.  His face pics, to the extent you can see them, are heavily edited, and he’s much thinner than advertised. I wouldn’t recommend, feel free to PM me.
