With the shutdown of sites (e.g. backpage and craigslist) options have become rather scarce for guys moonlighting. As such, I am a lot more forgiving. I block when I am not interested - only report if egregious - and I cannot recall ever reporting a guy looking for gen for this reason.

 

Now bots - those bastards I report every time. Hate spam. ?

I used to report them. And I think Grindr would delete the account. Lately I haven't seen them do anything on the Bot Accounts that I've reported. I wonder if the difference is since the Chinese took over. So now I just block.

I did plenty of that with real straight men when I was serving in the navy. If they were truly straight they could have downloaded tinder or in the old times search craigslist in advance. I think they were curious at least.

My very first client ever was from Grindr. I had been propositioned before, but always said No! But that particular night I guess I was curious and asked how much and the guy offered me $200 Hour for my time. I had recently moved back home to Oklahoma due to a house fire here in CA and was like Sure why not!? I saw him over the next several months on the regular until I moved back to California. I've been advertising on RM ever since then. So I think it is fine for a client to ask. I mean I prob would have never considered escorting if it wasn't for that guy asking. And I realy LOVE it! So he did me a BIG Favor by introducing me to this. He never believed me when I told him that he was my First though.... LOL He laughed and Said "Bull Shit!?" LOL Like others have said though you just have to be careful. In my case it was an amazing First Time experience.

Grindr has become a treasure trove, at least in NYC. I’ve almost stopped using RM — with people there quoting 400 or 500 & up, & often not being responsive or rude & then not delivering, there’s no point when you have all these stunning non-pro guys more than willing to do whatever you want if you throw 100 or 150 at them, and they’re happy to be taken out for a drink or dinner afterwards without the slightest suggestion you would pay them for that time. Granted you have to share pics & stats, so maybe it isn’t for everyone, but I have to say I’ve had amazing experiences since I e started doing this, and saved a fortune too.

Ditto to much of the above. These days I have more luck with Grindr than I do RM. Occasionally I even find a great deal - free! For example I was in San Francisco recently with a very tight schedle and made an appointment with a well reviewed RM guy to make sure I was using limited play time wisely (although honestly I'm not sure how much I trust RM reviews?). He flaked out on me twice and I ended up not seeing him but finding a delightful young man with a daddy fetish who was a lot of fun.

Just gave it a whirl and results came in pretty fast. I think I prefer the RM approach for now but will continue to experiment.
