In a previous thread, I waxed nostalgic about the re-appearance of some of my favorite posters here - Doug69 and FFF in particular, as well as our long lost Woodlawn (hate his politics but love his way with words) ... cum to think of it, I have that same love/hate affair with the others heretofore mentioned - }( .

When I recently re-read a thread about a certain "unnamed" escort with a BIG MOUTH (we're talking gossip, not oral skills), the link for which was posted a few days ago, I realized that there is another poster who's been absent for a long while - Franco. (For those not familiar with an ego measured by one's verbosity, do a search. }( )

For me, I welcome back Doug69 and FFF, and I wish Woodlawn would re-join us.

As for Franco, Daddy probably is grateful not to have to worry about paying for the bandwidth. :+ And I don't have calluses on my index finger due to scrolling down for 13 hours waiting for him to finally take a breath. :)

After only 5 years here, I hardly qualify as an "old timer, ": but I'm wondering who else has disappeared? (Ummm, besides Donnie x( )

I am still here but quieter. Hi Guys nice to continue to listen to you all at least most of the time. Some don't change and some don't disappoint and some remain the same. HUGS Chuck

And I'm a charter member from way back in the 90's and I have so few posts. Sometimes its best to sit back and watch and be selective on participation. ;-)

In fact if anybody remembers him, Derek Colton in San Francisco introduced me to this board back in 1998/1999. I miss him. He has since retired a few years ago.

Trust me - the above two are no loss.

>Boston Guy

Now Boston Guy is a different matter. Big loss. He was one of our most articulate members.

Somebody else I kinda miss is bigguyinpasadena, wonder whatever happened to him?

I will never forget Cody Tyler.

And my other Chicago favorites (I know controversial, but, still, I had great times with them) - Casey Wagner and SimplyTheBestEsc (Spencer).

Wonder where they are now.

I am approaching my 7th anniversary using this board and the review site which preceded the current version. I used another name for several years posting reviews until I settled on the jawjateck handle in 2005. In June 2000, I stumbled on the Hoo site quite by accident. I was traveling to Denver on business, and had never hired before. I made contact with an escort who was listed on other sites, but I sealed the deal when I saw a few favorable reviews of him (I wish I knew who those guys are; I owe them a big thanks!). I hired him, had a great time, my fears melted away at his touch, and kisses, and cock, and.......and 50+ escorts later, I've enjoyed it all. While I hire less these days (I've got a great playmate now that I previously lacked), I still check in here from time to time, and probably will until I die or this site dies.

Because of this site and the Hoo site, I have never had a bad experience (a few average ones yes), never been ripped off, never been stood up. It pays to do your homework, and this resource has been most valuable to me.

A few previous posters I miss are (in addition to the fine individuals already mentioned): hotmale, lovesyng, devonsf, aaron in dc....I'm sure there are more, and will remember them after I click "post".

Thanks to all the ole timers!

I really miss Will, but he cut his contacts with the board and even with those he socialized with off the board. So I was somewhat surprised when he resurfaced here not long ago with a question, but once he got his answer, he disappeared again, despite the welcome he got for his return.

Boston Guy went off to MER, along with Tampa Yankee and marc antony, but I seem to remember him reappearing here occasionally.

Funny that no one has mentioned regulation. (But then, he didn't really disappear.)

I used to enjoy escort Brad Hanson postings, because he was very open and honest and used to feud with the Hoo-pet of that time, Aaron Lawrence. (Ok so I love a catfight) Brad was a blonde cutie from the streets of Vegas and Hollywood and he clashed with the caviar and champagne attitude of A.L.

Wasn't there one escort at the very beginning named "World Traveller" or "round the World" or world-something who was so incredibly arrogant, loud, rude, obnoxious, egocentric, that he was absolutely the most fun to read? He never worried about offending, because absolutely no one here was worthy of hiring him.

The guy's name was Sean. I believe there was a thread a while ago asking about him, and someone posted that he had passed away.

Wasn't one of Hoo's first favorites a guy named Billy? As I recall he stopped posting when questions about his age and a bad toupee were posted.

World Escort Sean! That's who I was going to post about and you beat me to it. He used to boast about owning a fleet of limousines & property everywhere, seeing only the highest of high-class clientele, and his Great Controversy came after he admitted secretly recording all of his sessions "for his protection." I seem to recall something about him kicking in somebody's high-end stereo speakers, too. Yes, he was fun to read. It was fun to see pure & raw arrogance & egotism without a "warmest regards" tacked on at the end. :p

When I first started hiring escorts in 2001 or 2002 there was a Billy I think "Billyboy" was his name out of the midwest somewhere like Illinois but not Chicago.

Was very well reviewed and one of the first guys with a complete website.

I think he retired a number of years ago.

I miss the picture posts by Les. His Saturday postings always made the weekend start with a "bang". LOL. Also Escort Sean Lespagnol used to be a nice contributor to this board.

Sean retired a couple of years ago and now is living in London with a normal day job. We keep in touch and I see him about once a year.

I also miss Les and wonder what ever happened to him

The one I miss the most is Traveller.

Posted

Yes, Traveller had this ultra-dry wit and I always loved the theater/film references he added almost as an after-thought. It was really sad when he left.

Posted

Catnip, actually Traveller left...and then he died. So that's REALLY sad. Fun as shit on the board, can't imagine how his partner and friends could keep up with his wit, drugs, blackhole hole (not even light could escape), and fuck-it-all-let's-have-fun attitude.

Right, that's how jazz musicians describe someone dying: they say that he "left". Sort of a euphemism infused with a jazzer's innate cool. And the cool cats can be very self-destructive, but that doesn't stop one from being fond of them.
