Are the RM reviews worth anything?

I notice there are many escorts with loads of positive RM reviews who, I then learn from this forum, are in fact "fakes". Even the red-ribbon reviewers don't seem to mean anything. Nor does the "gold" status or "verified" photos.

I guess the reviews are just very easy to post and some escorts spend time posting under a lots of different names.

But do you even bother to read the RM reviews? Or just figure they're fake?

I do look at them, but take them with a grain or two of salt. My typical routine is see who else the reviewer has hired, when the reviewer joined, and what their other reviews look like. It isn't like reading RM reviews is a arduous process, so I figure "what the hell!"

Reviews are not guarantees. I've hired several with stellar reviews (here) that were total duds!!

They are what they are. I think having a few RM reviews on a guy is better than no info at all, but they are no substitute for the carefullly-vetted narrative reviews on Daddy's.

Sure, when they notify me I've gotten a new review, I check it out.

 

I don't encourage my guys to write reviews on their system as RM's reputation for allowing bullshit to pass is well-known.

 

Daddy and the admins work hard to prevent this kind of thing. Does it still happen? Sure. What separates this site from RM is that when you email the admins here about a problem or oversight, it's actually taken care of and not ignored.

I think they can be one of many tools to see if someone is who they say they are and that they deliver what they advertise. Now that RM has been around awhile, there are quite a few seasoned members with a long list of reviews. These I pay attention to and can be a great resource.

 

I hate to admit, but I tend to leave more reviews there nowadays than Daddy's only because it's easier and more convenient. I don't have to fill out all the information every time I want to write a review. That's something that could be improved here.

I get quite a few inquiries from RM clients asking me about the reviews I’ve left on RM.

 

Occasionally they are from someone creepy who wants to ask allot of “did you do X” questions but mostly just “anything I should know” stuff.

I think they have some value, but you also have to put them in perspective. Assuming it's honesty, it's A's subjective evaluation of Person B. And you don't know much about Person A: was he having a good day when he met Person B? What about when he made his evaluation?

 

On the whole, the evaluations on RM seem to be either extremely enthusiastic or extremely negative, with little in between. I'm always struck by how a positive evaluation swear by the accuracy of photos and a negative one will insist that they person looks nothing like his picture. once came across negative comments about a guy who also in adult entertainment where the person said the guy looked nothing like his pictures. A quick web search led to video saying otherwise.
