I recently contacted Gabriel Cross to inquire when he would back stateside and he said he wasn't allowed to enter the US anymore. Anyone know why, could you PM me please?

He "performed" in the US repeatedly for profit and likely was here on ESTA (visa waiver program available to Eu, Canadian and other residents of countries the US has strong ties with).

Modeling and "performing" for profit is considered doing business and if it's caught is an automatic 5year ban from the US and often a lifetime ban from ESTA. As such he'd need a visa to enter the US....getting one will now will be difficult or impossible. I do have a great gay Immigration Attorney if he wants a recommendation!

I believe this also happened to Ivan Gregory . Was supposed to meet in Miami after he returned home from South Africa. He was not allowed back in the states.

This has happened to a number of "performers", including Rogan Richards.

Unfortunately Gabriel Cross might have called some unwanted attention because of his frequent visits and videos. I know foreigners who come here to escort from Canada, Europe, Brazil, etc. and have to explain how come they're leaving their job back home to take a vacation here specially if they do it a few times per year.

Did he tell you if this is permanent or temporary?

@tassojunior How do you Bel Ami friends make it here without any questions asked every year?

He probably over-stayed his 90-day visa waiver (ESTA) . That is most important.

ESTA is normally automatic for 90 days. I have heard that when someone stays 90 days, returns home for a few then back on a new ESTA repeatedly INS can get suspicious they are working here and deny a renewal for a while. But long-term ban is usually overstaying the 90 days.

That would make sense. Overstaying a visa is a huge redline.

There was some talk about INS officers in the airport asking about frequent trips and even searching phones and laptops.

Lesson learned: If you're given the opportunity to make good money in a country you're visiting, don't fuck it up. Pay attention.

I know of a few working guys who have been in the same situation, one of which was a very popular Frenchman here back in the Hooboy days. Great guy, but he got entirely too comfortable and let his guard down.

Good point!

Unfortunately it's human nature expecting/hoping we won't get caught.

It might not be some of those things mentioned. It just might be something on his side. I remember being told by Canadians that if they are arrested for drugs or other reasons, they are not allowed to leave the country. I can't remember for how long but I do know that after a certain point they can ask for a "pardon" of some sort. As far as overstaying tourist visas, unlike most other countries that are granted 90 days, Canadians are allowed to stay up to 6 months a year in the USA. This accommodates the "Snowbirds" we get every year in some states. :) But working and gaining income is not allowed with tourist visas anywhere so that also might have been an issue.

What a shame that our famously inefficient immigration system seems to have found a rare moment of effectiveness with GC. Without doubt he is one of the chief ornaments of his trade, sweet, smart and sexy and now apparently unavailable over here. A most excellent reason to visit London again!

GC isn't Canadian is he?

Unless someone carries over $10,000 cash on them I doubt they know anyone "works" as a companion to a friend for gratuities. INS doesn't cruise Rentmen.

British.

British? My mistake then because I always thought he was Canadian. But UK Citizens also get 6 months in the USA as we do also in the UK by reciprocity, same as before they joined EU. This is an exception to the rest of the EU which gives and gets 90 days.

Guys I just did a search about Gabrial Clark.

Gabriel Clark is French-Canadian (maybe also UK citizen, I don't know), but this thread is about Gabriel Cross.

(Edit: Gabriel Clark is on my list, he has what comes across as a genuine (and engaging) personality in his English language vids that I have seen.)

Blush yes, but no need for a major sorry exercise, these things happen. Both Gabriels are desirable, Mr Clark is my unrequited love (this is hyperbole). I wouldn't knock Mr Cross back, though. (*Plans trips to Canada and the UK.*)

Getting shut off from the US market creates a huge dent in the income stream. That’s got to hurt a lot.
