Hey Guys,

I originally wanted to go to Australia this year but got greedy when I saw I could finally get a summer vacation.

So now I really can not make up my mind on where I want to go. I have some thoughts but figured y'all could

maybe add some countries I have never even thought of based on places you have been or want to go.

Too many variables.

Responses could be two weeks in the wilderness on a photography expedition -

or jet setting to as many hot casinos as possible.

You need to give the community here some more guidance on what you’re looking for.

Do you have days or weeks?

Is cost a major factor?

It's hard to give recommendations when one doesn't know where you are, where you have been, what you like to do when you are on vacation, how much you want to spend, etc.

I have no problem letting yall know where I have been.

I have a month off so I have time to go anywhere. Cost is a small factor I am not trying to spend over 10k.

I am foodie so I am all about trying new and unique types of cuisines everything else is icing on the cake.

I am tying to get ideas outside my little box so any response is a correct response.

Internationally I have been to Japan, China, Korea, Spain, France, and Canada.

Nationally: NY, MA, FL, CT, GA, SC, PA, VT, ME.

Stockholm is beautiful in the summer, and the newly revived neighborhoods are interesting, especially those close to the Baltic Sea.

I was actually thinking going to Sweden for Lent so I can try their Semlor which is traditionally made during that time. They may not make Kiviaq but I was also insterended in trying their femented fish dishes like Surstromming. Do you think it is worth it to get a Eurail pass?

Stockholm is best in the summer because of nothern European winters and seasonal darkness (like St. Petersburg, Russia). So I would suggest near the of the end of lent. I usually do not buy a rail pass because it is easy to fly in Europe. The food is wonderful in Sweden. I stayed two weeks, and wished for more time.

Maybe a river cruise. You only have to unpack once.

Some vessels have single staterooms. But cheaper if you can share a room.

Food is typically very good.

Crew is very pampering.

I see you have never been west of the Mississippi. The West is full of spectacular scenery, and there is plenty of food and wine (especially wineries) to sample on the coast. For a complete change of pace, there is always India; the best Indian food is in good Indian hotel restaurants.

Never really thought of India before. Thanks one of my classmates goes back and forth with his wife to see his family. I will have to ask if he would be interested in taking us around India. I have to see if there are any special events done in Mississippi for me to go see.

Not the world’s top destination for food, sorry, and that seems to be the OP’s main interest. Of course, if you are talking boys, that’s a completely different story ;)

But it definitely has a lot of unique foods. I am not just a foodie I like learning about different cultures though I do have a heavy interest in Asian cultures. I love trying new things so you don’t have to focus just on foods.

How are the best food though the Prague guys?

What would you say is a must see/do?

It's by far the most beautiful and historic huge city. Mostly pre-1400. It's also incredibly inexpensive for 5* hotels and restaurants. Many UK tourists come for the inexpensive new restaurants. Czechs are beautiful and friendly. Most porn is filmed in Prague and every other guy on the street is a gay porn star. The old Carlsbad spa town nearby is amazing. Berlin. Dresden, Vienna and Budapest are closeby. Did I mention the gay porn stars?

Ive traveled Europe a lot and Prague is my favorite home-away-from home.Everyone I know agrees on Prague being the best.
