Dear lord people ... I did accept the apology and said just that. Eh .. yeah ... I think I'm done with it. Steven messaged me privately so as far as I'm concerned it's over.

RE: No excuse, SIR !

Sorry, Scott. Steven apologized to you. He did not apologize to other members for misuing the board nor did he apologize to other escorts for serving them as he did you...

RE: Agreement

And I have no problem agreeing with anybody as long as I think he/she is right. I didn't do any searches but, if Tom is correct, then I agree that Steven owes more than one escort an apology.

"For misusing the message board he owes everyone here an apology."

It's hard for me to agree with Tom on this one because I believe Tom has misused this board from time to time and I don't recall ever seeing any apologies from him. (I could be wrong.) What applies to one escort should apply to all and the word "misuse" covers quite a broad territory.

I have faith in Steven Draker that he will do the right thing: my experience with him suggests he's a very good man at heart. I don't need to hear publicly any explanation that answers the question why. But, I agree, any board apology from him will be welcome and I highly recommend it. He didn't acquire his respected reputation by being anything but an upstanding, sexy man. I believe he can overcome this foolhardy blip.

Rock..I think we just "Got" as much of an Apology to the Board, as most of us expected!

I Notice it wasn't forthcoming til at least a few S. Draker "Positive" Comments were made.

I'm wondering how this would Play Out in the Euro Market?

I doubt the Euro Guy's would be quite as understanding either. BUT America is a Great Country for the Working Guy's! Especially the World Traveler's...

"Rock..I think we just "Got" as much of an Apology to the Board, as most of us expected!"

As a member of this board, I DID NOT require an apology from Mr. Draker. I DO NOT take the musings on this board, or any board, too seriously (contrary to what some may think). For me, it's all fun, even when certain assholes rag on me. I enjoy when assholes show their true color: brown, and some of the assholes make me laugh. I like to laugh, even at my own (outrageous) forum personality.

"I Notice it wasn't forthcoming til at least a few S. Draker "Positive" Comments were made."

JT, let's be honest, this wasn't Katrina. (Just don't tell the drama queens.)

Judging by private correspondence, I don't believe the positive comments played much of a role. To think so is cynical and unforgiving. I sincerely believe Mr. Draker needed time to ponder. When a man makes a mistake, he often needs a moment to think.

Against all those who write about manners, I firmly believe an apology can never come too late. I've had two occasions in my personal life when a dear friend went bonkers and we didn't speak for well over a year. When each friend acquired whatever was necessary to get them to make contact with me, I was joyous and grateful the apologies finally arrived. From that day forward, we were able to enjoy a more loving and lasting friendship.

"I'm wondering how this would Play Out in the Euro Market?"

Among my years of experience with the European escort marketplace I have never met a Euro escort I could classify as a "valley girl drama queen." Hollywood doesn't exist anywhere but in Hollywood, and I spent a year living at 9255 North Doheny Rd.

"BUT America is a Great Country"

We are known for being friendly, open, generous, and forgiving. I have no plans to move.

RE: Accepting apologies

I just wanted to say thanks to all involved on this thread. It is truely the most exciting offering on the message board this year. Actually having been with some of the participants and communicated with others I felt like I was on the set of Dynasty. This is not a slap at any of those directly involved as the issues were real, but sorry to the somewhat outside observer it was good reading except for the long Soliloquies of a poster or two. I am not casting roles but remember Dynasty and Linda Evans were both a bore until Joan came along. God there were plenty of sub plots going on and unusual alliances.

I've forgotten the name at the moment but Joan and Linda have banded together to do a touring stage show together full of more witty bitchy banter that fans have no doubt missed :)

It's called "Legends" and it flopped when Elaine Stritch and Carol Channing did it many years ago. I'd be surprised if it's still running. Early reviews were not good.

It's AT BEST a mediocre play.

RE: Accepting apologies

Mary Martin was the star of "Legends!" not Elaine Stritch. "Legends!" played on the road for a year in 1986 & 1987. It barely broke even financially while getting savage reviews from the critics. The play would have gone on to Broadway or the West End in London, if Martin had been willing to continue.

Rick nice of you to bring up Barbara. Her and Linda go back to their first show The Big Valley. Now theres a show you and Derek would have fit in nicely. Barbara was always carrying that riding whip around with her. Now let me think, Derek, riding whip, big valley OOOH!! That sounds like fun. How about some spurs.

Come to think of it, my first TV crush was on Jarrod Barkley.

Not Nick or Heath! I ought to have realized something was wrong with me right then.

Richard Long as Jarrod was certainly the most refined and dandified of the Barkley brothers. I was a Nick man myself. Nick as played by the handsomely massive Peter Breck rarely got the girl but he frequently got to beat up any other man on the set, although it was a young Lee Majors who stripped to the waist most often as the illegitimate son Heath. There was another son who went out for milk and never came back. Actually I think he was to become the doctor to Jarrod's lawyer. And of course one cannot forget Linda Evans as the kittenish Audra, one minute all cuddly and cute and the next slinging an awesome set of claws. Victoria, Barbara Stanwyck, was every lesbians dream macho femme with a whip and black leather outfits and a voice just soaked in gin and cigarettes.

The Big Valley, The Big Valley..... great theme song.

Wouldn't it be ironic if we found out that this was happening all over again? An escort creating a fake persona to dish on the Benjamin Nicholas scandal? I know some people wouldn't mind, but clearly Scott would, at least based on this thread.

Interesting thread to resurrect and I'm not sure if you're attempting to insult or insinuate at this point. I would hope that ANY escort has better things to do than create an alternative persona in order to rag on their colleagues.

It's bad enough when they do it publicly from their own name.
