How did you like it? Make walking easier and safer?

I have to bend forward a little to use it.

All I had to do was take it out of the box and swing both arms out. They are locked in place. Very simple. No assembling.

I wanted to bring a soft drink back from the kitchen so I put it in a plastic bag and clutched it as I held onto the walker.

The walker has no wheels. I just raise it up and set it down a little further in front of me.

A few minutes ago I took it out of the box and used it to walk into the kitchen.

...where I forgot what I went in there for, so I went back to my computer and posted "Was Alexander The Great Gay?" :p:D;)

I hope you get comfortable and secure with having more mobility and that it brings you some contentment. :)

Hey Avalon, I have purchased in amazon wheels for my mother's walker. For the front we bought the ones that can turn and for the back the ones that don't. She really likes it with wheels when she goes out. This way she doesn't have to pick up the walker and turn it. By leaning on it, it makes it easier for her to make turns.

I may get a tray for mine to make it easier to bring food from the kitchen.

If the walker begins to scuff your floor Amazon has tennis ball type attachments to put on the legs. They also sell skis to make it easier to push along. One is shaped to look like a cute purple sneaker. All are under $10 a pair.

I've had several users of walkers indicate that they like having a basket on their walkers. Perhaps things are more likely to fall to the floor with a tray?

A basket? Thanks!

And the tennis balls

Can you @Avalon post a picture of the walker on here?

Mine came with the basket. Incredibly useful.

Most important, Avalon can now leave his apartment, if he chooses to.

I can't. The walker can help me get around the apartment without holding onto furniture and clutching the walls but I can not walk far. My legs are weak and will give out.

First of all practice around your place, just walk from one side to the other and back over and over again inside your apartment.

Later ask your landlord or any other friend to walk with you to the corner and back

And carry a chair. :)

My arthritic knees are the major problem.
