I used to run branding and marketing for a major corporation, I see, understand, and agree with your perspective. That is one of the risky decisions he made that was clearly a mistake. As someone who used to fly very frequently, I've seen and even had sex up in the air. But, situational awareness matters and is usually something that only comes with experience. The young man was naive and Austin--who should've known better--was selfish.

While I am indeed something else and something special--I've even been called amazing or awesome sometimes--I return to my points, which seem to have been ignored. Austin Wolf recorded the activity possibly without consent. Austin Wolf posted video(s) online, again apparently without consent. Austin Wolf didn't respect the identity or safety of the person he was having sex with in those videos. That is how this young man was victimized. Those are all violations of trust. Another Delta employee even said in one of the articles I read that it wasn't the sex that's the issue--because it happens--it was the video with the clearly identifying frames that resulted in the young man's firing.

I agree with everything you're saying. However this was posted to his justforfans account. I mean that's what he does and anyone who knows of him should know that.

This may go down as one of the best advertising stunts in history. Before AW’s video recording 99.99% of people never heard of him. Now 98.98% of people have never heard of him. I can see airlines using this little episode as a training tool for flight attendants in what activities NOT to engage in....especially United Airlines:

Instructor: This is not what the company slogan “Fly the friendly skies of United” means.

My small attempt at humor aside, Mr. Wolf is a jerk and to be avoided.

When I worked in the corporate world, any conduct by an employee that would negatively affect the public's view of the corporation, they would be held accountable. Discipline would depend on how egregious the conduct. If it were a short term employee, usually gone. Long term employees got some consideration. If the employee was still in a probationary period, nothing to think about, gone.

It will obviously be ignored but isn't there a difference between pretend scenarios in the fantasy of porn and actually joining the mile high club? Seriously no one should be engaging in sex acts in essentially public places like a public bathroom which is what an airplane loo is. Both of them are extremely trashy and we the vulgar customers who seek this crap out need to look inside and ask ourselves is this "Love is love?" Honestly it is not; it is base horniness and the LGBT community should be glad that this will not become a major news story because it shows the community in some of its own self inflicted worst light. I am guilty of subscribing and hiring AW but this sad tale does force me to question is this base activity all there is to me? Is it the pursuit of pleasure alone and where might I find true joy?

What does his have to do with United? This was on a Delta flight with a Delta flight attendant?

Shouldn’t it be “Keep Climbing” doesn’t mean climb on top of any dick you see?

The kid is not a victim, yeah a lot of us have fantasies about joining the mile high club, but doesn't mean we act on it. He did, he got caught, wether he was filmed or not, he shouldn't have been doing it. Say he was stealing something form a store and someone recorded him, does that make him a victim? He did something that was against company policy, he should be fired.

I have heard that when AW approaches a guy on Grindr, he makes it clear he wants to film the hookup for his Justfans website. I don't know if that is actually true. Very likely none of us know whether the kid was similarly told how the video would be used.

Pretty much both are at fault.

I would put more responsibility on the Delta employee though. I doubt the employee didn't know who AW was...meaning that when he was recording there's a chance the video would end up online. Once he walked into that washroom cubicle, both the uniform and ID should've been off. In fact before entering the ID should've been pocketed away. He clearly knew he was being recorded but was saying otherwise hoping it would save him his job.

He may not have known the video was going online, and if thats true then AW is totally at fault. Could also be the possibility he knew the video was going online but didn't think it would get back to his job and is only denying that to again save his job. At the end of the day, the Delta employee wasn't thinking at all when he hooked up with AW and is paying the price. No sympathy.

Makes sense. And because he's a stud I'm sure in most cases the guys agree.

But that presupposes the young man knew him as anything other than an attractive tall muscled white guy he was attracted to. I know nothing of Austin Wolf as a "porn star," but after this illegal and unethical PR stunts of his, I definitely know him now as someone I would never hire because he has no care for discretion at all.

this kid is totally at fault for his actions and nothing whatsoever of a victim. im sure there are cameras all over an airplane. forget that AW had a phone recording this. what if they snuck in and another flight attendant saw this and reported it? and had the camera recording in the airplane as proof?

this kid is immature at best and negligent at worse. there has to be training about conduct on an airplane on duty and off. he screwed up and will get fired. hopefully, he will learn from this and most likely need to get employed in another field. i cant imagine the unions would allow him to work in that field again.

if i take a recording of you robbing a bank and put it online and it causes you repercussions...so be it. you are at fault...period. my god this world and "the victim card" has got to stop!

Did you you even read the entirety of my post? Granted! I’m not a comic writer but I think most people understood the point I was trying to make. I’ll go back to my cave now and remember that I’m nothing more than a retired accountant.

Of course, the kid is at fault. He was stupid. But did he sign a release allowing him to be posted online. I assume AW filmed for his commercial site.

I don't think you can assume that. We really have no idea what was said between them about what would happen to the recording once they were done having sex. As has already been mentioned, the employee may not have known who Austin Wolf is or that he has a 4My.Fans site. I seriously doubt he would have signed a release allowing him to be posted anywhere and I have not read that was the case. That certainly would have made the case against him bit more serious as then he would have know that the film was going to be used commercially (assuming he knows what 4My.Fans is). I have a feeling this is not the first time that Mr. Wolf has found himself have sex aloft in an airline bathroom. Particularly as he has been in the business for many years and has to fly various places for both filming and escorting. I find Mr. Wolf attractive but then (as many know) I like a big butt on a guy and he certainly has one of those. However, if the film was for his site it would fit in as it is fairly poorly done (from the little of it that I have seen). I have seen many of the other films on his fans site and I was not impressed (except for a few of the segment) and actually I was fairly underwhelmed. Very poorly technically done even for an amateur site.

I understand your point here; however, here is a person in uniform on one of his employer's planes choosing to have sex in an airplane bathroom. Video aside, he did not exercise good judgement in making this decision.

You really had never heard of Austin Wolf before? He was quite popular several years ago both in porn and here on the Message Center.

What so many seem to be forgetting or discarding in their rush to judgement or willingness to ignore the facts is the reality that it's entirely possible to fuck up, make terrible mistakes, and still be victimized, which is precisely what I've been saying all along.

victim | ˈviktəm | noun a person harmed, injured, or killed as a result of a crime, accident, or other event or action. • a person who is tricked or duped: the victim of a hoax.

As I have said repeatedly, the young man made many poor decisions while he was traveling on a plane to work. He was off duty but in uniform with ID because he was a deadhead. As others have pointed out and I agreed, he represented the airline because he was in uniform and presumably was told repeatedly during training that in uniform he represented the company.

Unless Austin caught the "consent" discussion on video, this is a classic case of he said, he said. The young man absolutely screwed up, but it is also highly likely he was victimized by Austin Wolf in that he was probably tricked or duped into believing Austin Wolf was a trustworthy guy. The young man has said in various reports that he did not know he was being recorded and did not consent to being recorded or uploaded online. I imagine he was smitten by the tall hot muscle daddy and if he knew about the recording--which he denies--was probably told it was for "private use" or some such nonsense.

The facts remain, Austin Wolf recorded sex with a young man in uniform on a flight and published it online. I seriously doubt Austin has video of the young man consenting to being videoed or being published online. If he does not have such documented consent, then those two acts are crimes in many jurisdictions. Further, Austin Wolf knowingly performed this sex act on a plane in a restroom, which is usually considered public space and therefore also another crime.

As I said above, the young man deserved to be reprimanded and fired for his misconduct, but that does not change the fact that he was victimized by Austin Wolf when Austin Wolf uploaded the videos, doing lasting harm to the young man's professional & personal reputations.

Sadly true. I vaguely recall seeing him mentioned here on the forum before, but only as a name of a guy who violated discretion before by posting client details. I don't ever recall seeing him, but I don't watch alot of gay porn from studios. The same sex porn I watch is usually of the amateur variety found on sites like xtube.

Exactly how does one hide an iPhone in a small airplane bathroom that is positioned to record you without you being able to see it? Perhaps you could explain that one.

Like I said earlier - The kid made a stupid decision; AW acted despicably.
