Since prostitution is legal in Nevada on a county by county basis then why are there no gay brothels in Nevada?

Corbin Fisher could establish one for their stable of male porn models. They don't like their fellows to escort but this way they could keep it all in house.

I said it before some of the billionaires (anybody who owns a house is a millionaire now a days) could chip in a make it a reality!

Perhaps your making an invalid assumption: https://nypost.com/2010/02/02/my-night-with-a-prosti-dude/ (and no he wasn't the first.)

Perhaps they had problems with the legal requirement that prostitutes have weekly cervical exams: https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/nevada-gives-green-light-to-its-first-male-brothel-1.909477

I find the tone of that article really bad. Condescending and contemptuous. Why'd she even go?

Many (if not most) times when I see a documentary or article about escorting it focuses on how broken these people are to have turned to escorting and how bad their personal situation is. This just keeps on reinforcing the (very) false notion that there's nothing good about escorting. (Deep sigh)

Related matter: there's actually a male brothel in the US? And they accept gay customers? That's interesting to know! Thanks for sharing those article links.

Yes, clearly this article was written by someone who went into the experience knowing that she was going to look down on whomever she met and seemed defensive and stand-offish the entire time. Must have been quite a difficult 2-hour session for the guy she met since I imagine it would be more difficult to spend two hours trying to satisfy someone (even if only through conversation) who is going out of her way to be irritable than a run-of-the-mill client who simply wants to see where the experience takes them.

As to the notion of a male brothel, I never even understood the agency model. It obviously worked for some guys, and maybe it's because some guys simply lack the organizational skills to manage their own inquiries and bookings (or simply don't want to spend time on that), but it seems like most male escorts prefer to be independent. That makes sense when you think about gender norms.

From a fantasy perspective, give me a house full of Corbin Fisher and Sean Cody guys and a lot of money and I would enjoy myself tremendously.

The advantage of a location like a brothel is that there are other people on the premises who have a strong interest in keeping everyone happy, and keeping the business reputation clean. So in case there are any shenanigans, from either the client or the escort, it won’t escalate, it can be resolved through other people’s intervention.

I would not, for example be worried about getting my wallet stolen in such a place, even with a new escort that I have never met.

That is is something I often worry about in my hotel if I invite an escort I have never met.

The other advantage for the client is that you don’t need to do the quality vetting. The brothel owner should have done that.

The advantage for the escort is he doesn’t need to do any traveling. Clients come to the brothel, he only has to be there. The escort doesn’t have to reveal his home location if he doesn’t like traveling to client’s place. No unfamiliar hotels to figure out. Also, the brothel could have cleaners, so that the escort is not on cleaning duty after each client session where the bedsheets have been as lubbed up as their ass.

A number of years ago, in a large midwestern city, there was a quasi brothel. The owner advertised a little in the local gay paper, but mostly it was word-of-mouth. Clients would call a number and discretely discuss what they were looking for. The receptionist would list what was currently on the “menu” and go from there. Once the client picked a selection, then there would be a call-back for verification. Then a date/time was set for the event. The client goes to a location and meets a person who does a quick little interview, collects the fee, and gives the client a door key and an address. Client goes to the address, uses the key, goes in, and meets the escort and the fun begins. Upon conclusion, client leaves door key with escort and leaves. It worked very well for several years. The internet and online escort advertising pretty much ended it all. I was never disappointed.

My experience was in Australia. Wine was served, and I met each guy one at a time. I chose "Mario." Mario was surprised; he thought he had failed pretending to be Italian.

Very nice experience. I went with a friend and he liked it a lot as well. In Sydney,

Australia.

I had a similar experience about 15 years ago in Melbourne.

Back to the escort agency in Philadelphia, Premier: in addition to their current guys, they brought in "guests" from all over the country.

They had ads in the city's gay paper with photos. If you had questions, I usually received accurate answers.

The best guys did eventually go on their own, but an excellent way to start.

NY had a very good agency good agency too, specializing in male models.

There is a difference between escorting and prostitution. One is legal and one is not. Please don't mix the two up.

I wonder if basic biology doesn’t favor the female brothel model. While some guys can get it up on demand, there’s no guarantee that it will always work. Hence the start and stop nature of porn shooting, with editing to make it appear effortless. Women, on the other hand, can substitute good acting for arousal, and do, making their product potentially available every time, on time. That can work when the guy is a bottom, but not always as a top. The pharmaceutical contribution can help, of course, but male sex workers need a different availability pattern.
