Atlantis Mexican Rivera cruise

I’m going on a Mexican Rivera Cruise next week. Leaving from San Diego. Will be visiting Mazatlan, Cabo and Puerto Vallarta.

 

Anyone been on this cruise? What should I expect? I’m going alone - are ppl very cliquey? Would it be easy to meet new folks?

Have not been on a cruise in several years and never on that particular one, so I may be wrong in some ways. There may be a special cocktail party or similar for singles on the ship, so look for that on the daily events list. Also, you may be seated with others at meal time, so that will be a chance to chat. Ask the cruise social director about other singles and opportunities to meet them.

Thanks! How are their actions going to help gays in Dominica? Not at all. What they did may cause more harm than good there!

Well that settles it for me. I can tolerate almost anything, but having to put up with bad dressers is just too much to ask. No gay cruises in my future.

I went on that cruise a long time ago. It was fun at sea, but Mazatlan, PV and Cabo were boring as fuck. Mazatlan was really nasty.

I'm not sure how long ago you went there, but Mazatlan is lovely now. We've been going there off and on for 17 years and it continues to improve in every way.

A lot of cruise lines have stopped visiting Mazatlan because of its declining reputation.

Out to dinner in the city, on tours, and such, we met a good many cruise-ship passengers who were enjoying the city. Aside from that, real estate is booming, new construction is everywhere, lots of ex-pats building or buying second (and sometimes primary) homes there.

I guess my info is outdated, seems the cruise lines pulled out of Mazatlan 2011 for a few years but some are now returning. ??‍♂️ My bad!
