Is it the end of an era?

 

I haven't been since around new year but was thinking of going this weekend. Google is listing Gold Coast as permanently closed and their facebook page has been deleted...

It might be. Sin (the back bar) is open, but last time I was there, there were only a couple other people. I am pretty sure there are no dancers working there. There's some activity at Menjo's, on 6 Mile west of Woodward; there are a couple other bars associated with Menjo's now.

I remember the yelp review or similar of Club Gold Coast a few years ago in which the reviewer chuckled over the mandatory valet parking policy.....he turned over the keys to the "valet" and his car ended up being parked all of ten feet away........

Anyone know if the closure is officially permanent? Or are they back open? Google doesn't show as permanently closed and the Facebook page is still up, though not updated since 2016.

it's official, Gold Coast (and Sin, the back club) has closed, for good. The last night was Sunday, April 28. I didn't hear about it too late so I didn't make it there that night.

Sad. I grew up going here. I gave so many high af guys "book money" for school. Amazing how some of these guys were in college so long ;) Good times...
