I couldn't let this day (Nov. 3) go by without saying "Happy 36th birthday Derek Atlas"

 

 

He does hide his age quite well.

 

He was 34 or 35 in the photo several postings above.

 

Here he is ten years younger:

He seems to look better older.

 

Some people age well while others don't as they age.

 

He has a lucky gene that kept father time from getting him.

 

Derek improved in looks with age, in my opinion.

Yea, you seem to be spot on there.

We can call to mind any number of porn men or service providers who have not fared so well in that aspect.

One thing to consider though is if & when he is released, will he have taken steps to deal with his inner demons, as it's been often put, that brought his world crashing down If Derek has, will that entail an entirely different lifestyle going forward for him?

"if and when" - He will be released, little doubt about that.

 

The question is, how can he easily choose an entirely different lifestyle going forward? He knows no other trade. At age thirty-six, it is tough to start over again. His good looks will not last forever.

 

Nature is often kind to the young by giving some of them good looks and charm. However, when those looks and charm fade, and the person does not have a trade or sufficient education, it is not easy to begin a different lifestyle.

 

I wish him the best.

according to a search, Derek Atlas has been moved from a very large state prison in Indian Springs, NV, to a small minimum security facility near Ely, NV.....those familiar with Nevada know the difference!.....I wonder if this means he's been a "model" prisoner and earned the transfer to a less hectic (and cooler) place.....

The site shows that he has no prior felonies.

 

His charge - "Battery causing substantial harm" - minimum sentence 12 months maximum 40 months

 

Very sad.

One last comment about "Derek" -

 

Whenever a photo is taken of someone getting booked or arrested, the photo generally looks pretty bad and the person looks like they have been "put through the ringer" so to speak.

 

However, in the case of "Derek" (not his real name) his booking photo shows a very handsome man -

 

I tried to copy the photo to post it here but the configuration of the correctional site is programmed to prohibit copying images unless special software is used, which I do not have.

 

For those who know his real name, you can go to the site furnished by @azdr and enter the real name then click on photo. Such a handsome man in such an awful situation.

As you probably surmised, I also wish him the best.

Given his physical appearance when he broke into porn, Derek's earlier life may have been largely focused on the family business back in his home town. In other words, I think he has a ready-made career path waiting for him that is totally separate from porn &/or escorting if he chooses to take it.

I'm not going to say anything more specific here about that though given the potential concerns for privacy he may have going forward after the release.

In addition to BATTERY WITH SUBSTANTIAL BODILY HARM (Felony) in Nevada, Derek Atlas has a prior arrest for BURGLARY in New York.

Omg. Why he need to be involved in robbery when he got everything! Mental disorder is bad and it is all due to drugs, lifestyle and peer pressure!

Can you visit prisoners in prison. (I dont mean sexually).
