on the very rare occasion when I ask for a picture beyond what's offered in an ad (usually it's for a face shot), I say, "do you have a current face-only shot of yourself which you can send?"

Yeah.... for me it can be five years as long as he looks essentially the same... but much more recent if there’s been a major change, like a complete body waxing.

Keeping pics current (within 6 months) seems reasonable, and expecting current pics seems reasonable as well.

Not older than 6 months. If the escort looks exactly like he did 5 years ago, why would he not post recent pictures? If my looks have not changed, I would keep the older pics and add new ones regularly.

You know guys I've NEVER had a problem with an escort showing up on my doorstep not looking like his photographs. It might just be dumb luck (a definite possibility in my case). It might also be that I generally spend a considerable amount of time vetting, on this site, the guys I hire (this is what I like to believe). Additionally I NEVER waste my time reading reviews on rentmen.
