Stick with white 100% cotton sheets so you can use hot water and bleach.

 

(If you can afford it, get them professionally laundered, starched and ironed).

 

Nothing beats the luxury of starched pima cotton white sheets.

Another option is to buy a handful of microfiber blankets. They are practically indestructible, wash up well, and take no time at all to dry. They are also super easy to fold. If you look carefully you will see that ChaosMen uses them in several scenes.
