Quite frankly, I fail to see the point of Ben's gossip section. He never names names, is so vague his items could apply to anyone and never nails down anything definate. However, for many reasons I will always read his blog. If you got emails accusing you of being the item that just tells you something about the writers.

 

Self promoting gibberish - That's just the way I took it Scott. The fact is this is a thread with 25 replies which is mostly about you and started by you. Wether you planned it that way or not only you can say. I'm just saying what I thought. But there is nothing wrong with self promotion. Ben does enough of it himself with 15 minutes, his now defunct Yahoo group and this message center. It sure is one way to get ahead and I would never fault anyone for it.

Hence why I opened this post and my first response to seaboy saying I don't want this to become a dump on Ben thread. My point is NOT that he shoudl name names, that was basically sarcasm if it was missed. The point is that he should use specifics "hints" or not make them at all if he sees him self as the next big tabloid'ist. Frankly I don't believe in the process at all; he should either say it or not.

Nothing was accusatory by any means. It's not my CURRENT clients that I worry about, it's my recent experiences with new clients or better the experiences I'm not having because of things that are being said about me. My crusade is not on Ben by any means, just the general outlets of gossip this being the most recent.

I'll make a note of that but EVERYTHING I write being self promoting is obviously a little subjective in interpretation. I post something with a goal, if it happens to promote me in the process so be it but that's never the goal. By that same token I'm promoting BN as well because as he says, "Any type of PR is still PR." OOh, a conspiracy theory. This WHOLE thing was designed to create a buzz about the inevitable world tour we’re doing together. Thanks 8, I needed a good laugh. Why do people read so far into things when all that needs to be looked at is the surface? I had an issue and I brought it up. I said I had emailed him in the PAST about the issue. The first HIV reference and then the second. Despite his reactions to those I still felt that he was not getting my point about why the gossip style of practice is wrong. Even now knowing who and what the whole issue is about I still stand on my principle that making vague wannabe page six references that can potentially negatively influence anyone beside the target aren’t warranted. THAT is the point and that’s what it always has been.

Who is blasting him? Did you bother to read my very first response in this thread about this not being a dump on Ben issue. You couldn’t prove my point more that when people have a problem without a lot of merit they resort to bitching about irrelevant points only designed to lower credibility. Last I checked there is no political office at hand here, enough with the mud slinging. What ten emails dear? The emails I have been referring to are the ones I’ve received from clients who read his blog and always know trouble when they see it.

People have a tendency to enjoy gossip, whether they admit it or not, unless it is about them or someone they know. When I see the BN gossip about certain unamed escorts, I wonder what BN's reaction has been to some of the not so favorable gossip about him.
