Lol and you guys expect the escort to absorb that cost?

Most escorts own a car when they visit. They come from Los Ángeles driving ... or sometimes from San Francisco. Usually that’s not a big issue for them. They don’t need to Uber around.

No, I don’t. That’s why I ask if they can travel. If they say they own a car, then all is well. If uber is mentioned, I have to move on.

Yes I have paid for the Uber-before, after, and both ways. It’s usually cheap since I am in downtown DC and they usually are too. I live right next to a subway stop so some take that. But usually it seems they prefer Uber. It adds to the cost but whatever. Before Uber I never paid for their travel like by cab, but Uber makes it easy for the client to pay.

I decline the request for uber, though it's only been made once. They probably have their own account and should just use that. Factor it into their rate if they must. The out rate should cover it. I am not their personal assistant taking care of their travel. To me its a hard stop and I'll just hire another that is less hassle and less work.

Remember, for the professional is not just about paying for the ride. It is also about combing away flake clients.

I generally get Uber requests when the client is from out-of-town. If a British guy is visiting Chicago, you know he's not going to have a car.

I don't like having CC information out there, but for good escorts, I'll order one. There's only one time I regretted it (someone completely different from his pictures, who I called an Uber to take back maybe 15 minutes after he arrived).

How’s your CC information out there any different than using über for yourself?

Haven’t been asked to order an Uber for a provider, but I did one time actually have a kind provider order a Lyft for me when I was leaving his place! It was right when Lyft was coming on the scene as a competitor to Uber and he was telling me about them and just said, “Here, I’ll order you one.” I told him he didn’t have to, but he insisted and did so before I could stop him. (Of course this followed an extended appointment that I fully paid for and there was a good connection.) I felt it was a very kind gesture, and it resulted in me hiring him again as a result (along with many other positive attributes).

Incidentally, I did not let him paying for it stand, and reimbursed him the amount before leaving. Still, he booked it with no commitment on my part to pay which I thought was being quite a gentleman. There are some excellent professionals out there!

I might offer to call someone a taxi, but if someone insists on Uber, then it's a no-go for me. This is more based on me not caring for Uber's business practices and models than not being willing to make travel accommodations, though.
