One of my first spa experiences consisted of the masseur "tickling" my hole. Felt nice, i went with it. I was thinking this was pleasurable. I’ve had a number of surprising things happen to me during a massage, which I guess is what I crave at this time. I appreciate how many on here get a regular and stick with them, but I love the unknown, even if that results in some clunker experiences along the way. 
 
I used to go to a provider on 2nd avenue just north of 42nd. I can’t recall how I found it but it was basically a chiropractor practice and this one asian guy had his own massage room. 
 
What was unexpected about this is you’d sit in the waiting room with other standard chiropractor customers and he would call you in his room. He would put on medical gloves (which it turns out kinda turned me on) and provided a medical grade massage complete with being draped throughout until the very end where he would remove the sheet and relieve me. For some reason each time, I thought - oh that was a one off, he won’t do that again, but each time he would. And he was excellent. I think he’s been gone from that spot for a number of years but I wonder if others ever visited there.

Met with him few days ago. I'll endorse all the excitement about the session. I wouldn't say it was my best massage ever but it was legit good. Very good. Plus all the acrobatics he performed to excite me were very impressive 😉 Highly recommended.

The owners operate Epic Men spa on Lexington on the UES. There is no sauna or locker room there but same friendly owners and massage. Don’t think that masseur is there. They seem mostly Asian. 

I saw him today and he was excellent.
Just to let you know level of service, I am only interested sensual/erotic massages.  
I was not looking for an escort.....so, it did not get there.
His massage skills were excellent and he is super-sexy if you like smaller, tightly built asian guys.
He looks even better looking in person than his pics....and i thought his pics were great.
He was extremely friendly and delivered on what was agreed to.
As someone mentioned earlier, HE mid-massage was nice to have...and then for him to continue the massage.
Here is the downside though for us in NYC.....he is hosting in midtown through 5/30....then, he is hosting in Queens through 6/30.
Dealbreaker for me....I have no time to travel to Queens and I cannot host.
Bottom line is that I am way too picky with massage providers. Having said that, there was not one negative aspect with him!

Whatever you want to do and wherever you want to go just make sure you meet him first to check chemistry.

Stating where you’re based @50andnew and naming the destination might help you get more detailed responses. 
 
Your base is relevant if, as I strongly urge, you’re going to have an initial date with the guy before you travel together. The destination, and the duration of your visit, matter as the guy may have personal reasons to visit or simply enjoy some cultural/sporting activities while you’re “busy”.

Concurring and adding to @KensingtonHomo, particularly if you are at a spa of cheap rates ($60-75 an hr neighborhood), masseurs will be inclined to do extras such doing the session nude, mutual touch & bjs only with a generous tip and please don’t think restaurant rules apply to this type of industry (they essentially make their money on tips) if you can’t afford to tip at least 100% of the session rate, is best to book independent masseurs who are likely to offer erotic massages for their standard fee.

I just had my first session with SmileThailand in Manhattan.  Impeccable modern hotel room, perfect lighting, music, scents.  He is a small beautiful man with a warming smile.  He handed me a fresh plush towel when I went to wash my hands, helped me undress, not that I need it, and invited me to lie down in the impeccable king size bed covered with a pristine white sheet, feet towards the headboard, face resting on a pristine -again- pillow. He offered me two different scents for the oil.  And the session began. Unquestionably, he is a  proficient Thai masseur and worked on my neck, back , shoulders, arms and glutes with diligence always checking for my feed back.  He then continued to my feet, calves and hams.  Then he asked me to turn over and the session took a blissful dimension that cannot be described with words.  Some twenty minutes of that unexpected interlude was followed by Thai massage of the arch of my feet, legs and quads and adductors.  He then sat me up and continued working on my neck and upper back until he left me floating.  I took a shower in the nice bathroom and after getting dressed he warmly  embraced me thanking him for a great session.
I took two hours @ 300.  Totally worth it.

If it were me I’d say something like, “I’d like to book 120 min - a 90 min massage with 30 min of relaxing and cuddling afterwards. Is that something you’d provide?”

When scheduling ask to be his last appointment. Most massuers have set hours. 
Don't have any expectations. 
Communicate what you enjoy. Don't be upset if there are additonal charges. Tip generously;  your next encounter will be enhanced!
