I love this idea! If they do it, I hope it's just as over-the-top as the Eurovision Song Contest

I don’t get TikTok at all. Do y’all?
Is it because of my age?
Unlikely. I'm almost 65 and I love TikTok.

As an avid fan of Amazon, which I like for its convenience and rapid delivery, I do worry that the corporate giant is damaging retail merchants. A part of my thinking is that this is an inevitable change, as computers affect shopping habits the more people get used to them. Today's Guardian, though, has a striking article on the topic. What do Amazon fans do in light of this information?
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/aug/02/decline-high-street-amazon-power-tech-giant
Back in the day, I was a big fan of Amazon, and I've shopped with them since 1996.
However, lately I've grown to despise Bezos, and I cringe every time I fall back in a moment of weakness to buying anything from that website.
I still love shopping on-line but I will go out of my way to buy directly from the manufacturers online stores when available, even if it costs more or takes longer.

Creating routines and tracking my progress using technology!
Being the tech nerd that I am, it's given me endless exciting opportunity to create routines, follow them, monitor my progress, and adjust things as needed, all with the use of numerous computing devices and electronic gadgets

My friends have always had much better gaydar than me. One friend used to occasionally point to some hot guy and say to me, "See that guy over there? He's definitely gay--he just doesn't know it yet!"
Me, I'm totally clueless. Not only cannot I not tell who's gay, but I could never tell when anyone was interested in me; It's probably why I'm so damaged now (just kidding!)

There was a brief moment when buying someone s underwear was a thing? How much would you pay? Anyone else interested in sniffing worn underwear?
There are a few people I know whose underwear I would be interested in acquiring, but I'd throw them out once I familiarized myself with their scent.
I'm too finicky to keep dirty underwear around for long

These players are like those I see at wrestling matches...constantly touching each other!

Any urge to pick it up again during self-isolating? There's probably on-line Rubik Cube Clubs now.
Look what I found, a Facebook, speed cubing club with 38,000 members. https://www.facebook.com/groups/117632558303556
It was fun but I'm definitely not interested at all in picking it up now; It was an OCD-magnifier by the time I stopped playing and that was not a pleasant feeling!

I could...in 1981! Loved the cube at first and was obsessed with memorizing the moves and practicing to get faster.
Burned out in three months, and I've had zero interest in them since then

I am 40+ yo... in the past year or so I stopped eating beets. Ate them my entire life.. just because. I do not enjoy them. So I stopped.
I have substituted lettuce with spinach on burgers, sandwiches etc. . Iceberg is basically roughage. Little to No flavor and mostly water.
I fully support that approach! If you don't like something, don't eat it!

Le Village on June 28, 2020:
And almost nobody in a mask.
It was nice to see Stockbar again (5:20), even if only on video

As impressive as that sounds, one has to wonder whether it was accurate information. While I acknowledge that an employee might be accessing different data than what's available to customers via a website, I went to Target recently to buy an ink jet cartridge which was listed as "last one left" at my nearest store. I got there and there were several of them.
I've had the reverse experience as well, leaving disappointed because the item I wanted that was supposedly in stock was nowhere to be found.
I'm confused why, given that inventory control is computerized is most stores, that they aren't able to tell you exactly how many of any given item is available at any time of the day or night.
Shoplifters, maybe?

There are many products that would never fly with the Western pallet. The range of Japanese KitKat Flavors is amazing.
Green Tea KitKat's are amazing! I'm sure that's one of the more agreeable options on the list of "weird" KitKat flavors available.

But worrying, just like giving advice, doesn't help.
For me, worrying helps as long as it inspires me to devise a plan to address the issue. Once I have a plan, additional worrying just makes me miserable.

It seems criminally negligent to open these places up now given that the US is seeing 45,000 new cases of Coronovirus every day. The people who visit can make their own choice about whether to risk infecting themselves, but risking their family and community to wider infection is unacceptable. </soapbox>

Yes. It usually starts with a PM about a common interest or similar story. Back-and-forth chat ensues, then a "Hey, gonna be in your town next week. Got time for a beer or coffee?"
There's the Palm Spgs forum weekend, too, of course!
Same here! I've met a number of folks from the board that way; though I've never been to Palm Springs. Used to meet up in Montreal and NYC with those who expressed a shared interest in the strip clubs. Met up with some people for a Swinging Richards trip a few years ago.

Straight guys are more likely to be satisfied by getting blown, which is as you might expect, a plus for me. Also, I feel like I can worry less about what they think about my sexual attractiveness or lack thereof than with gay men.

Yes! I still have a very hot memory from my last visit. Actually got a lapdance from a guy who had recently starred in a Jonny McGovern video

Hot guy, interesting location. Wondering where this might be?
