So not quite a scripted show (or maybe it is...) but I didn't realize Hunter March from E!'s Nightly Pop is hiding some yummy body underneath his clothes...

Interestingly enough, I have not met with a lot of providers since January (except for my regular masseur in MD), but what has sparked my interest to start this topic was the recent influx of requests I have been getting from both RM and RMasseur sites to "add a review with 5 stars" for certain providers for a variety of reasons - slow pickup, balancing out some recent bad reviews - other reasons. Admittedly I have done this once or twice (the last time I probably should not have obliged as everything else this provider had done, outside of certain pricing schemes, was sketchy at best) early last year. And, providers who actually consider me a regular would never really ask me for this favor. It would be these individuals that I have met once or twice - had a great time with them, but I would not necessarily feel compelled to provide an additional review if I have not had a recent encounter with said provider. And the more I get these requests, the more I tend the question the motivations behind the ask. Perhaps it's just a seemingly efficient and expedient business move (to see if folks can solicit more positive reviews from clients who already provided positive reviews previously), but I wonder if you have tended to still meet with them. In retrospect, I do not know if I would necessarily hire those folks again. From a business and professional standpoint, I am still a big proponent for someone having integrity, so if someone is asking me to essentially lie and add a review for an encounter that does not exist or has not occurred, certainly gives me pause. How about you?

He said he'll be in LA through Wednesday, so maybe you could catch him in LA. -
Love it - couldn't wait to upload mine - not my own picture necessarily, but a nice professional picture of the villa I stayed at in the Maldives.

well, even though I'm a Nathan stan, I would say he'd be the guy to beat - he's been undefeated since worlds 2018. -

not for miss universe, but mister supranational usa does - one could go to the website and vote for the guy you think is most talented.

if we could also replace "discrete" with "discreet" for the description in The Cabana, that would be great.

my friend actually sent me a random text last weekend asking for math help. I thought there was a prank somewhere since he tends to do that, but he was actually trying to built a custom attachment on his daughter's corner crib for her water bottle that has a 3" diameter. he was showing me his work on how to get the exact measurement for the hypotenuse. now my typical sassy answer would have just been to just hire someone who could do that for you, but it actually got me excited to solve for it. it was kinda humbling as it took me 2 hours to get to the answer. anybody wanna try to solve for the hypotenuse and show their work? width=227pxhttps://undergroundmathematics.org/thinking-about-geometry/perfect-fit/images/triangle-1.png[/img]

What was one advice you wish you did not take?
+ MysticMenace replied to + MysticMenace's topic in The Lounge
That's the thing - in my first organization, it's not like I have not had interviews with other organizations, but there was always something that turned me off about the company I'm interviewing at some point during the interview process, so I would either end up not accepting the offer or discontinue with the next set of interviews. Through time I started to doubt myself whether I was just being too picky or if I needed to re-adjust my non-negotiable. Maybe I should have stuck with my intuition from the beginning. -

Oh the CEO is amazing, but unfortunately I do not work directly for him. There are those organizations where you believe the vision and mission of the organization, but in individual departments you work with, the sub-culture might not all be aligned with the enterprise. -
how was the fit? pics? lol.

As well-intentioned certain pieces of advice are from family, friends, co-workers, and to some, acquaintances, they may or may not work for you. For me, I wished I had done more research on the culture of the department I moved to (my current job) instead of just trusting my friend's word (who had moved to the same company a month before) that the opportunity would be a lot better than the previous job we had at the employer we used to work at. She ended up leaving the new job in less than a year, and now I am realizing I am too cautious and worried to commit the same mistake I had made 4 years ago going to another place I would think as greener pasture but might actually end up just as horrible or even worse than my current situation. What was one advice you wish you did not take?
