You may also considering capturing the lead (rentmen, reviews, etc.) and city.

Brogan's not near as hot looking in that video as he is in the ad pics. One wonders which one you're going to get.

I kept track of a run of approximately 12 months 1+ years ago and have decided to restart the practice to have a better understanding of how much income I'm making beyond my day job and make financial planning for the distant future more accurate.

I'm curious what it is you track for your revenue. I think it's unlikely that it's just the total number.

    I take down this data:

Nickname - name saved to number, may or may not be legal name
    Account - phone number, usually
    Amount - compensation
Tip - amount above and beyond expected amount
    Date - date of meeting
    Time - time of meeting
Day - day of the week the meeting takes place
    Location - incall/outcall
Booking - expected function, to include timing of how many hours
"Function" - keyed words for use in analytics later, possible examples could include "massage," "wrestling," etc.
Notes - notes I may have about the encounter, future expectations of either party, difficulties finding the place; notes.

Anything you track that I don't?

    Per annual tradition:
    Revenue decreased 29% from 2019.
39% of 2020 revenue came from the year’s top three clients, up from 32% in 2019.

It's my practice that the client picks up the receipt, but the cost of a 'regular' hour is not expected. I could've been eating somewhere else, enjoying my private time, but also, likely, enjoying food of a lesser calibur. The trade-off seems quite straightforward to me. They're getting my time by providing me a service I needed anyways - everyone has to eat.

Though, I'm not trying to talk shop with my clients about whatever it is they do during dinner - just casual conversation. Were I interested in talking specifics, I'd make it clear that there was no expectation for them to pay for my time or my dinner. The value generated from the conversation would be worth the expense.

I’ve seen a regular at Trader Joe’s, on the bike trail and at a wine shop. We always hug and catch up. I don’t give a fuck what people think anymore, since no one even notices that stuff anymore in the two Blue Zones that I call home.

Some providers get panicky to be seen in public with a client on or off the clock. I have had to calm down a couple of guys on different occasions when we ran into their acquaintances while dining out. I say, "relax man, I've got you covered." While with a provider, I have run into friends multiple times, even in cities far from home (it's a small world, eh?); panic has never been my response. I guess I'm comfy with who I am and what I do.

If you invited him I'm sure he'll want you to pay for dinner, not sure about hourly rate, ask him. If he asked you then I would refuse to pay.

The “encounter” time period for adult activities should have a definite appointed beginning and end. The time spent at dinner, movies, advice, therapy, etc. that occurs before and/or after the encounter should be considered as neutral no-charge by both parties. At least this is what my brother, an attorney, told me. And he also said that his opinion, because of the holiday, would be free this time.

My dentist knows that my professional career was in the investment business. Some time ago I was in his chair for a teeth cleaning when he started to ask me questions about equities.

I asked him if this cleaning was going to be free. That stopped the questions.

Why invite the provider to dinner to discuss real estate? If he wants your time, shouldn't he be the one doing the asking? (and the paying?) Value your time as he does his.

If dinner was to be strictly on the meter, he wouldn't get it. If he wanted some additional sum because the date was going to last significantly longer, then yes. If he wanted to quiz me about the industry I work in and how he can break into it, the meter would be off.

Been doing this many, many years now. I've gotten STIs from clients, but only recently have I ever passed an STI to a client. I was mortified. He was actually very understanding... I wish there were better solutions to STIs. Prophylactics, like PrEP for gonorrhea/chlamydia would be a game-changer. Ah well, whatever.

Edit: I have a poor habit of forgetting to make a point until I edit my posts. The point I meant to bring up was that people just need to be honest and communicative. Catching an STD is, in most cases, just like catching a cold. It's hard for you to pick up whether you have it until you're already presenting symptoms, and there's no way you'd purposefully catch the STD, so you just have to assume that other people are also like that and that if they spread it to you that it wasn't in malice, but from being unaware.

I treat the situation the same as with any of my non-paid sexual encounters. I notify him of the STI so that he knows to get tested sooner rather than later. It has never stopped me from seeing the person again, or vice versa.
