Verification of facts these days is difficult, to say the least. A lie repeated often enough becomes the truth.
As it stands, without evidence, it's your word against his. I completely agree that slander is harassment and should be stamped out.
You could get tested for drugs and upload the results to clear your name.
I know I would not hire a provider who is known for doing meth so you're completely justified in your anger.
