  1. @RealAvalon – “We just don't know enough about it.” The only thing we know for certain is that we know nothing for certain.
  2. Just had a provider refund a deposit. Not because of issues between us but because we determined after communicating that we should wait a bit. I never had a provider return a deposit. That’s a huge plus in my book for this guy. And makes me want to really look him up when it’s a better time for us both.
  3. “Sorry. I was with a client.” Then nothing…
  4. And then add to it which source you look at for your data. CNN has been reporting John Hopkins data, particularly some sort of map that they have been producing showing that Massachusetts has a 50%+ increase in cases in the last seven days. If you go to mass.gov you in fact find out that that is not the case according to the way that Massachusetts is reporting the data. At this point the positive caseload is only one data point among many that’s important. What’s also important is hospitalization rates and if surge capacity is being used or not. But of course that’s not nearly as sensational as “increased cases.” No shit there’s going to be more cases. There will be more cases until the things, gone.
  5. A few text messages sent last night to no response yet…We wait to see.
  6. Nobody knows shit. That’s the take away from all this for me.
  7. @Unicorn – How silly of you to want to contextualize! And most of all remember all these efforts were originally about keeping hospitals from being overwhelmed – not escaping the virus outright...
  8. @keroscenefire – it depends what data you look at, a situation that is infuriatingly confusing. John Hopkins Data “Numbers don’t lie but liars use numbers.” You can make data say what you want it to say. I thank God that the data released by Massachusetts has been trending positively for some time now. Also – better healthcare is a must.
  9. I wish I could stay home every time I had a headache…
  10. @MrMattBig – Providers who act like they’re too good to engage in conversation are likely not going to be a good fit for my time anyhow.
  11. @Todd Jenkins – of course all the doomsayers who were just last week screeching “Trust the WHO!” are cautioning to wait. Remember the meteoritic spike in cases we were inevitably going to see two weeks after Memorial Day, too? I’m still waiting for that and it’s been two weeks…
  12. The WHO said today that asymptomatic spread is “very rare.” That’s a change from before.
  13. When hiring for a BFE, I want to know that the experience is going to be compatible for me. That requires some level of communication. If a provider is unwilling to do that, that’s kind of sad. I don’t think asking some questions, especially if you’re asking for kink or role play components makes you a time waster. When I’m shelling out multiple thousands of dollars, I want to know what I’m getting. Anyone can post a pretty picture online...
  14. @Gar1eth – yeah, well, I was criticized for just that...
  15. Sometimes reaching out to the folks who do the reviews on RM is a bit more useful than casting a line into the pond here. If we knew what his name actually was it might be easier if we could find a review on daddy’s but that’s not working out either… To be clear, I don’t have any doubts that he’s probably real, I would just like to have an idea what he’s like to work with. And I hate to reach out to you guys to put feelers out because they don’t always respond to that very well.
  16. Round is a shape, right? Been in that shape for some time now! ?
  17. I’m going to say an abundance of posts that say “bump” really don’t count as “a decent amount of content”
  18. @jawjateck, decency and respect go a long way in most every walk of life. I’m happy to compensate someone fairly. But I do want to receive what I’m looking for in return. But no matter what, there’s no room to be rude, in my opinion.
  19. It’s not a yard sale where you’re haggling over prices. Would you go up to the register at a store and say “I’ll give you $1 for this gallon of milk?” When you’re at a store and don’t know what something costs, you don’t go up to an associate and offer a price, do you? You ask what it costs, right? The same principle applies to a provider, in my opinion. Now, that isn’t to say that some providers don’t have an absurd price. Nothing saying you have to take them up on that. I do believe that some people are more open to negotiating/haggling over rates than others. But on the whole I think that if a guy wants a certain amount and you’re unwilling to pay that, just move on. If I’m in a store and I say something but it cost more than I’m willing to pay, I simply don’t buy it. Or I look somewhere else for the something similar. I get wanting to get the best deal, but this is more a hobby where you get what you pay for too.
  20. Read an article this morning about research that said humidity has a measurable effect on virus transmissibility. The research could have bearing on preparing for cooler drier air in the winter. The indoor heated, recycled dry air in our homes and other places in the winter is a perfect environment apparently for the virus. Humidity (don’t ask me the science) apparently doesn’t agree with the virus. Where can I sign up to be aquatic?!?
  21. I’ve found literal solicitations were unfruitful. They’d reach out then nothing. That happened to me several times pre-COVID even.
  22. @Benjamin_Nicholas – that’s the other things that aren’t equal When the client demands something other than what is widely available on the market, the curve shifts. If both curves shift (higher demand price and higher supply price), I suspect we’ll see an overall shift in the market. Markets of any nature rarely just fall after adjusting to a new higher equilibrium. It takes major outside forces to push down equilibrium in a homeostatic market. And given the need and desire for money and sex, the market is rather sticky and inelastic. It takes something a global pandemic for us to even entertain the idea of a shift in the market, and even then we’re skeptical it’ll shift.
  23. Simple economics. A converse question – Will clients be more willing to pay more for time together after a long duration going without? Escorts can raise their rates if they want but if it’s higher than demand, equilibrium simply won’t happen. Don’t forget the dead weight loss either. Ceteris paribus, a price hike will be bad for escorts.
