Or, when he comes over to wash the car and asks for your hose, you can ask him to clarify which one he means... -
Sorry to hear this happened to you. A few questions: 1. How long has he known you? 2. When did you cut off the relationship? (if this is very recent, could he be acting out?) 3. Does he know where you live/have access to you other than via text/chat? No matter what the answers are, your safety is most important. If violence is a possibility, it might be wise to let other friends of yours know what's happening so they can check in on you and monitor. Also, consider going to the authorities and letting them know that someone you had a casual relationship with is making threats to your safety - if that is the character of his threats. But also consider if a visit from the authorities might push him further over the edge. Hopefully he will calm down and move on. But please keep yourself safe.

Any idea what the HIV infection risk would be if a person is on PreP and using condoms? -

Is relocating to Canada really a thing?
CuriousByNature replied to viewing ownly's topic in The Travel Desk
Exactly. When I lived near Vancouver, I had very little in common with the neighbours just two streets over...lol. Most of them owned their $5million homes, while I was renting a basement suite. They drove their Mercedes and BMWs and I had my little Tercel. -

And two very different personalities and upbringings. Elizabeth grew up in a relatively sheltered family unit until her father unexpectedly became King, whereas Charles was born to the anticipated heir who ascended the throne when he was only 3 years old. She had a more affectionate father, while Charles's father did not have time or patience for his son's sensitivity. Elizabeth also had the commitment to duty and tradition that was imparted by her grandmother, Queen Mary, who had grown up during the Victorian era. -

I think people are being more gracious than they used to be towards him, and have accepted that we'll never see the likes of Elizabeth II again. -

I'm not sure why people are jumping all over @Ali Gator. I also was curious after reading the original post, as my name would suggest, and I looked at the Boston listings. Like others, I didn't find one that seemed to match. I figured the provider either removed his add, or perhaps I wasn't searching properly. I could have gone through all the Florida listings, but I figured if Ali wanted people to know who this guy is, he would have included his link. It would never occur to me to contact the guy and tell him about Ali's post, but maybe Ali is wise to take that precaution. Even if the post was fictitious, so be it. Ali doesn't owe anyone here anything by making a post. Just my two cents on the matter. -

I soak them in hot water first, or in Chinese cooking wine. This softens them up but they will not be like regular shrimp. They don't reconstitute fully. You can use them as they are if you want a chewier texture, but many people soak them first so that the texture is softer. They are used more for their umami flavour than for 'shrimpiness', and the flavour is more intense and concentrated than fresh shrimp. I like using shrimp paste as well.

I really don't like only fans. Tried them for years and then finally bought myself an air conditioner.

I think most of us would welcome people moving up here from the US. We are far from a perfect country, however. The cost of living in major cities like Toronto and Vancouver is pretty high, though lower than Manhattan. Universal medical is great, but we have long waits for treatment and many people cannot find a family doctor. Canadians are pretty friendly, but that also depends on the region. I find almost everyone is polite, but not always warm and engaging like a lot of Americans tend to be. -

How funny - I'm a mash up between Jackie Gleason and Shari Lewis. Minus Lamb Chop, which I ate with some mint sauce. -
