Just wondering if any members here have a history of family members making it to their centenarian years? I'll probably be lucky to reach 80 since my grandparents all died in their 60s and 70s, and my parents only reached their early 70s. I knew a brother and sister once who made it to their mid-90s, and their mother apparently hit 108 before she died. In a skydiving accident. Just kidding. But in all seriousness - who are/were the oldest people you've known, and are/were you related to them?
I've never tried the pills... I mix the powder and chug, chug, chug. I did try a no-name brand to save some money, but I found that it wasn't quite as effective. It was still better than nothing, though.
Coffee? I have heard conflicting reports on coffee and its effects on the digestive system - that's good that it works for you. I have never had the pleasure of being with anyone, but I have come to appreciate the clean and empty feeling I get from daily metamucil. I imagine more than metamucil would be needed to be clean enough for my comfort if I ever meet up with someone, but since I started on metamucil a few years back, even my toilet paper expenditure has plummeted.
Thanks everyone. He popped into my mind the other day and I wasn't sure if he was a figment of my imagination or not... nor did I realize it had been sooooo many years!
Just wondering about someone who, if I remember correctly, advertised years ago under the name Dredd Scott. He was bald and muscled with tatoos on the flanks of his torso. I assume he is out of the business, but was wondering if anyone here ever met him. I think he was based in either Seattle or Portland....
Lol... though I have zero interest in topping anyone, assuming I ever do get together with someone. I think I would be an enthusiastic participant, so maybe that is the same thing as 'power'. Though I doubt I'll ever find out!
