This has been exactly my experience, where advancing-- even when I don't expect to see it again-- leads to a feeling of weirdness and ultimately resentment on their side. Avoid.

Just change your terminology - it's not a loan, it's a gift. If later on you get a gift in return, all the better, but never go into the equation expecting repayment and you'll have no regrets.

In my experience these types of requests tend to finish off the...friendship, shall we say. Or at the very least it sprouts tentacles for future requests. Even if the guy agrees to see me again, there will be resentment. ? And he wont be able to afford traveling to me and needs another loan for travel expenses. And can I help him out with some holiday cash so he can get his mom a gift. And...and... Let us know how your decision turns out. ?

I follow the same approach as @purplekow - try to set something up immediately. ?

“I need tuition money” is a template, at best.

My rule of thumb is, and one I always recommend to clients, in regard to “short term loans”...instead of hastily offering to hand an escort cash or advancing him for the next session via Venmo/PayPal etc., offer to pay the institution directly (as a parent would), or ask for the payment portal (which most colleges have) to pay tuition online, ask for a screenshot of the balance, or to cover the costs of the books he needs etc. There are many ways to verify the authenticity of a request before handing your money over to the unknown. His response will speak volumes.

Not as ripped, he said he hadn't been at the gym lately because of his rotator calf injury in the summer...

Not a kisser either. Not aroused.

Maybe I caught him at a bad day, week, month... His abs look oily in the pics, photoshopped? Maybe...

I only posted 3 negative reviews on RM, this one wasn't deleted, the other 2 were and the 3rd of Czech Jock got my account deleted. I no longer post reviews there.

My apologies if I posted too much and crossed the line, I'll edit this again to remove some of the information and avoid bothering the mgt.

Pretty odd to do face-only shots on jock2go and then no-face on RM, then face on RMass. And the jock2go ad is expired anyway. Even the same guy?

A while back I tried to set up something with him, and I was mostly interested into a BFE very vanilla experience. He blurted out that it would be 300. BTW he clearly states that his in/out rates are 250/300. Since I was asking for in call, I asked him why the difference in listed and quoted price and he said 250 is for a massage only, 300 for full service. We exchanged a few more texts where I suggested that 250 was very high for a massage, and that I was afraid that he would try to upsell me more, and he said that he's on par with a Lamborghini or a Ferrari, and not to contact him again. I listened and stayed away. It's rather convenient when providers warn you themselves.

Thank you all for your birthday wishes...! Means so much to me that A) You’d remember, and B) You’d take the time to find all these cutesy memes to send to me!

Blessings back at each and everyone of you- and for those of you headed to Palm Springs..see you soon!

Throwing this out there. Many of you know I’ve posted before for people who don’t feel comfortable having an electronic trail back to them. Almost ALL of those have been positive reviews, such as for YourBoyYouKnow, and several others from the Cleveland area.

Well, this lovely gem named above burned a guy I know HARD. Not only are the pics old dated he’s an outright thief and blackmailer. I don’t even care if he reads this board and sees me openly calling him into question- anyone who knows me knows I have a direct tie to law enforcement, so I’m really not scared of anything he does in response. I already did my due diligence on him; he’ll wake the fucking dragon if he does.

Have little respect in this industry for parasites who rip off older men who don’t have the resources to do this all the time. When they do this...it’s a special event...and you want it to be remembered and enjoyed. I cannot even imagine the feeling walking away from a session empty handed, burned. Makes people never want to do this again.

Headed to bed in Barcelona, but it’s been eating at me that my friend got burned; do with this as you will.

I understand your feelings. There have been times in my life when people have pushed me past my breaking point and I have responded in kind, and while it gave me a fleeting sense of satisfaction, I ultimately felt I had let myself down by becoming one of them. For me, it's an emotional catch-22.

Hi guys, I'm new here, new to everything (& trying to learn M4M etiquette). Been soaking up your wisdom as I get ready to take the plunge myself--thanks for your candor and generous advice.

Just wanted to point out what's kinda funny to me. One of https://rent.men/Timonxxxl 's 5-star reviews on RM was by https://rent.men/sugarsweet, who reviewed 2 other people with the exact same photos as Timonxxxl in the last year. Truly a revolving door for those photos (which are definitely hot).

Any service provider -- no matter what the service -- should want the client to feel they are appreciated and wanted. If they can't accomplish that in the conversation, it ain't gonna happen in the bedroom. Move on, find someone who seems as pleased to spend time with you as you are with him.

Yes, escorts are pummeled all day long with emails and txts from creeps, flakes, drunks/druggies, time wasters and jack-offs (people who are getting off on the interaction alone with no intention of hiring). Time is money. Advice (since you asked): Get the deal done in 3 txts max. Txt1: Hello is this (his name), (your name) here. Love your profile. [this is to confirm you ate txting the right person B4 getting into details] Txt2: Hey thanks. Looking for the following: (describe concisely your scenario including location date/time), are we a match? Txt3: Thanks, sounds hot. Can you confirm your rate for (times)? If you stick with this formula, they will know you are for real and not one of the above. And they will be thankful you are being respectful of their time. A few more txts is OK especially as you get close to comfirm. Remember this is a business transaction not a relationship. You wouldn't call the car dealership 500 times before buying the car.

Are you incapable of accepting this persons emotions and his needs as a human. “Get a dog”. What a BS statement. Maybe the next time you are feeling lonely and require companionship from these services you should go “get a dog” ?

I think you’re going to get replies to your post telling you to only meet providers with good reviews On Daddy’s Review Site - and that’s solid advice. But I will try to provide some extra thoughts:

    1) Pay attention in these forums. You will get information (in the Deli section in particular) about providers who have no reviews on the site.

    2) If you don’t already, use the Search function in the forums to look up possible threads on a provider you are considering.

    3) Don’t be afraid to start a thread in the Deli section asking about a specific provider. You will see many threads simply titled “411 on xxxxProvider”. You might be surprised that some Forum members have already had experience they can share about the provider that interests you.

    4) Regarding the catfishing problem - try to think what a Catfisher would do when placing an ad - Some red flags commonly found in ads that are too good to be true could include:

    - Very little information is provided in the ad. A catfisher is typically not going to take the time to fill out a lot of the question fields in the ad. He is also not going to write multiple paragraphs about himself. Most fake ads tend to look alike - a few great pictures with little ad copy provided.

    - Speaking of pictures, if there is just one or two pictures, that can be a red flag. Headless pictures of a spectacular body are also common in fake ads.

    - Pay attention to the date the ad was created. Many fake ads are “new” - and as is discussed often in the Forums - a guy creates an ad on Monday and by Wednesday he has three five-star reviews on the ad - that is unlikely to be a real provider.
