  1. He was known to hire male escorts, and was murdered by two young brothers who tried to get him to hire them.
  2. If you do a search, you will find that he (or someone else using that clever name) has been discussed on this site.

He has been around under other names (e.g, "Nate") for a very long time. Most of the photos are the same ones he was using when I hired him fourteen years ago. That being said, at the time he was one of the best hires I ever made in SoCal.
  4. No. Who are you going to call for help if you break down somewhere in space? AAA?
  5. Actually, I have never made a bet on anything; I am too ignorant about how the process works, because I grew up in a conservative Republican family that didn't approve of gambling. I have never even bought a lottery ticket.
  6. The only spoken language he lists is English, but given his written text, I rather doubt that it is his native tongue.
  7. Sometimes seasoned players will respond that way, but many don't feel secure enough to do so. They fear antagonizing the press with that kind of response.
  8. Now can we do something about the "verbose" icon? I know there was a discussion about it here about a year ago. "Verbose" means that the post was unnecessarily wordy, which is rarely true about any post, but the icon itself looks like a reaction of "Wow!" which is needed much more often than "verbose."
  9. Damn! I should have put some money down a week ago when I predicted that the final would be Djokovic over Berrettini.
  10. My spouse has been having a small glass of scotch (with one ice cube) every evening for as long as I have known him (more than a half century). Lately he has been buying Shieldaig, which he says is as good as the more expensive brands. I wouldn't know, since I rarely drink any alcohol other than wine or the occasional gin and tonic. Many years ago, a friend and I did a driving tour in Scotland, during which we stayed in Grantown-on-Spey, and visited a distillery--I don't remember which one, but there are several in the area which welcome visitors.

    Love the name choice😄

The first car looks fairly new, so it probably is a photo from the 30s. The second car is a 40's model, and look a bit beat up already.
  13. If it is possible to do so, I would start by reading some of the reviews Okliehomo submitted to Daddy's site over the years. He has not posted here for three months, so I don't know if he would respond to a conversation.
  14. I don't think Keiyan knows the difference between a noun and a pronoun🙃.
  15. No, I was out of high school by then.
  16. Did I not tell you last Sunday that my dark horse pick for the final was Matteo Berrettini?!
  17. I don't know whether your pic is of Reggie Bush, though it could be. However, the other (headless) photos in the ad show a somewhat leaner build, and the advertiser describes himself as a "basketball" type 6'4" tall (Bush is only 6'0"). It is also possible that none of the photos are of the advertiser.
  18. I had an affair with someone I met at the Day Sauna in 1974. It was the only time my marriage was ever seriously threatened.
  19. "It" can refer to animate objects, like a dog, if you don't know the dog's gender.
  20. The only one of these semi-finalists I would have predicted before the tournament started is Djokovic. It would be a hoot if Hurkacz managed to defeat both Federer and Djokovic in the same Wimbledon.
  21. What a pity. When I was a teenager, the park was a great cruising spot on a summer night. I could park myself along the iron fence on the west side of the park, and almost always found someone to take me home, and if I didn't, it was still fun to socialize with other young men doing the same thing.
  22. Osaka has just released a statement in which she claims that the press conference format itself is problematic and needs to be revised, and players should be allowed a number of "sick days" in which they can decline to participate. She particularly objected to sensitive personal questions like being asked about the symptoms of her mental health problems. Anyone who has watched those press conferences has seen reporters ask questions that are intended to elicit emotional reactions from players. Top players are often scheduled to do a press conference shortly after they have suffered a match which they have lost. Many of the players are young and relatively unsophisticated, and are questioned in English, in which they are not particularly fluent. Osaka has raised a topic that really does need to be re-examined, IMHO.
  23. Nice '54 Chevy
  24. I was surprised by Felix today--his history of crumbling has caused me to usually bet against him at crunchtime. But I still don't see him getting to the final, much less winning. I'm still keeping my eye on Berretini (who is very easy on the eyes, anyway).
  25. KUSC is the only radio music station I listen to.
