Conversely, when I see an appealing ad on rentmasseur (advertising erotic), I cross-check rentmen, since I'm not looking for an escort experience (not that those wouldn't be fun!). Live and learn!

Yeah, given his advertisement on Rentmen, which includes kissing, anal, oral, etc., I expected more. I wrote to him through masseurfinder, however, so I'm not sure he knew I was open to more than a massage. I didn't want escort service. For me, he was missing the sweet spot of advertising, which is rentmasseur, I'm not sure why. The massage was very sensual, however, with lots of MT, so I'm hopeful for next time. He's worth another try.

ONB, the OP says, "I felt that he was planning on going in." It's not clear what that means, but the masseur appears to have respected the poster's declination. As I wrote, the masseurs comment about PREP would have turned me off, but I don't see it as coercion in any way. It's badly worded advice, but for a (presumably) young sex worker in a world in which barebacking is normalized, it's good advice.

"Emotional blackmail" seems a little strong. Indeed, much of the criticism of the provider does. A good interpersonal connection is important, so the comment, as described, would probably have meant no return visit for me, but--given the pervasiveness of barebacking--I'm glad to hear that, for some of these guys, being on PREP is become an expectation. I believe that Harry and you--and I'm sure others--had a good experience with Max. I really only wrote because Harry's participation in discussions of Max verge on advocacy. I hate to weigh in again negatively on Max, but I feel like I have to when I read Harryinny's MANY rave reviews (3 of the 6 reviews on rentmasseur). They do, indeed, sound like paid reviews. The bulk of comments on Max, by my count, are not positive, and I understand why. His rentmasseur ad advertises sensual and erotic massage, including sexy pictures in a speedo or underwear, and charging what's generally considered an erotic rate (Now $200 on rentmasseur!). Except for him removing his shirt, however, the massage had no more sensuality than a legit spa massage. He didn't come anywhere near my asscrack or penis and kept everything except his hands as far away from me as possible. I regard this situation as false advertising, putting the client in the position of having to beg for services that were advertised. As I wrote before, I felt leaving disliked. A big part of this is what I experienced resulted from Max's remoteness which extended to the point of strangeness. Harry's reviews seem to acknowledge this (on rentmasseur: "some may confuse his timidity with coldness"). Let's all try to add our experience to the mix, not act as a boosters and apologists for our favorites.
