Their website appears to have come back online within the last few days (over the weekend the web server was showing a message that it was newly installed and awaiting configuration and prior to that there was a single page site with just some basic contact details and opening times)

Yes, the thread was unlocked.  The moderators discuss actions taken behind the scenes and occasionally come out with a different outcome.  Think of it like football where a play is occasionally overturned after looking at the replay.  
While there might be folks who comment on things that stood out most to them... at the end of the day, the best way to learn about the site history is to scroll back and read.  Most of the biggest issues can be found within the first 3-4 pages if you are sorting by most views or by most replies.  
If you want to view multiple forums at once, check out the Fluid view.  Then take it and apply a sort by Most Views...  you'll see the individual threads across multiple forums that have had the most views.  When I did that, I found several interesting discussions from the past including the one discussed above.  

As far as rates are concerned personally I’m not convinced of the benefit of having this as a drop down field rather than a numeric (or free text) field that records the actual price paid for the session, particularly if this is primarily being done in order to try supporting searching by price the same way as other attributes.
There are a considerable number of factors that can influence the price of a session (or hour):
incall, “incall” where the escort books a hotel room etc rather than use their own place vs outcall duration:some escorts give a significantly discounted rate for multiple hours/overnight… others simply multiply their hourly rate by the length of session, it therefore isn’t possible to work out what a provider will charge for one hour based on the price of a longer session Location: “average” rates vary considerably from city to city and from country to country and a travelling escort may or may not adjust their rates to reflect their current location Activities: some providers charge extra depending on what has been requested whilst others charge a fixed price based purely on time loyalty discounts/grandfathered rates which regulars may get that aren’t offered to new clients Location of advert/method initial contact (I’ve heard of a few providers that vary their rates based on where they are advertising) When the encounter occurred… due to inflation prices from 5-10 years ago aren’t directly comparable to prices being charged now Currency fluctuations (where the session wasn’t originally paid for in US$).  A change in exchange rates may change which band a price maps to even if the provider hasn’t actually changed their rate at all This all makes it extremely tricky to produce a single value that is comparable between reviews and therefore useful for a search
As someone who doesn’t live in the US I’d also much prefer to see prices shown in the local currency for where the encounter occurred than in US$ as this minimises the amount of currency conversion needed to figure out what a similar session might cost and what the equivalent might be in my own currency and it is much easier and less prone to error for a reviewer to report what they actually paid than worry about converting the amount to US$
In my opinion the fixed sized bands also don't work very well as they fail to distinguish sufficiently between different prices at the lower end (Eg: in cheaper markets) and don’t go high enough for longer multi day sessions in more expensive markets….  As an example until recently in the UK £150 was fairly average whilst £200 was quite high yet both fall in to the same $200-$299 band when the prices are converted to US$.

Having the price of the session shown alongside all of the other details of the review does provide some useful context for the review even if it isn’t a good way of carrying out an initial search,
If a searchable field giving an indication of price is desired then an extra field recording a simple rating of how the provider compares against other providers in the same market might be more useful than the current price bands, as long as the actual price paid is still recorded and shown in the search results.

I think the new group of moderators have made great strides in managing the site in a MATURE and civil way...   Where in the past an infraction received an immediate BAN without warning, discussion or notice (at east in MY case) ,  now the moderation is more transparent and productive in reducing repeated mis-conduct ...   Treating adults as ADULTS is a much more respectful way to handle things...  Thank you to ALL the team.

Whilst it may be reasonable to delete accounts that haven’t logged in for several years and which have never posted, personally I think it would be much better to keep any accounts that have posted at some point...
Having been a lurker on here since the time of hooboy there are several members (including at least one person I’ve met in person) that are no longer active but whose posts I’d like to be able to search for,  and there is always a possibility that one of them might return at some point. It could also become confusing if a username of a previous prolific poster was reused by someone new, and having posts belonging to inactive members deleted or reattributed to “guest” would make older threads more difficult to follow
If anything I’m more concerned about the birthday panel making it possible to work out someone’s date of birth than the fact it shows members who are no longer active. (Indeed seeing members pop up who are no longer active is a potential advantage of keeping the birthday list if it might occasionally trigger a memory of someone I haven’t thought of for a long time)
If having an accurate count of active members is thought to be important then as radiorob has already illustrated there are far less destructive ways for him to work this out
For me it was initially so that I could change the viewing preferences after daddy changed the default theme a few years ago..  creating an account also let me follow threads I’m interested in and keep track of new posts.when switching back and forth between an iPad and laptop

In my opinion by far the best website they ever had must have been soon after they opened when they used to show pics of the guys that were working. Since then they seem to have cycled through multiple domain names and site layouts... none of which have ever seemed to be anywhere near as informative and all of which seem to have eventually dropped offline before being replaced by a new site after a gap of several months or more.
 
Having a website with up to date information about opening times, numbers of guys working etc would seem particularly useful whilst the situation keeps changing
