i don’t know if it’s common practice. However, I think it really depends on the connection or relationship you have with the provider. If you have a rapport with the guy and have seen him multiple times then I think it’s ok. If it’s someone you just met it may weird them out a little (unless it was a monetary gift lol!)
 
Have I given gifts randomly to long standing providers? Yes. It hasn’t always been because of the holidays. I’ve given paintings and drawings I made to providers I’ve become friends with just because I know it will make them happy.
 
There is a small number of providers that I’ve become incredibly close with. So much so that our relationship/friendship goes well beyond a client/escort one.
