I asked for better clearer pic of face or body before meeting and he explained massage is only a side thing for him, wouldn’t send me more pics, is very discrete. He politely told me he understood if that was deal-breaker and wished me well. I found his responses to be genuine rather than shady. I have seen him twice and am happy with his good looks and discretion.

OR just do a freaking selfie. I looked at his ad. Immediately I thought Ok no face, purposely dark photos - what is he hiding

'Agree to charge that high of a rate its almost assumed that something will happen. So when it doesn't huge let down and disappointment with the masseur. At those rates you shouldn't have to signal or hint. But if you do and still nothing happens - well either the masseur should do that OR charge less.

Not all ads have proper info. Some even say ask me for a price
 
Also for me its a good way to see if there is a fit. Sure someone can answer questions in a text. But hearing how they answer means more to me. I have found that by talking to them I feel confident in the massage.
 
I would think a masseur would value 5 mins (not 15 as mentioned) to make sure its a good fit and not waste each others time.
 
If the fee is high I damm well want to make sure it will be worth it.

I know this will be difficult for you but try to see things from the clients perspective. You know the ones who are PAYING you MONEY for a service !!!!!!

One of my first non-spa massages was with him.
 
Thank God I found sites like this.
My experience definitely was a YMMV:
 
1.) hotel room smelled of old-Chinese food, from the shrimp fried rice container and plate sittting in the unmade bed
 
2.) started the massage on the table, which was right next to the TV, blasting an episode of Scandal, which he was watching while giving me the massage
 
3.) Oh, the massage oil he used was a dollar store baby oil
 
I’ll just say that whenever I see his ad posted in my city, I’m tempted to book another appointment with him, to simply kick his ass.??????
 
(Sorry, couldn’t help it. Never left a situation so insulted, cheated and snookered in my life. But never have again. That’s for sure)

While it isn't super common, it does happen - masseurs that advertise a price then try to up sell with a menu of extras

Looking at his reviews, prices are all over the place (probably due to the up sell). Most are erotic another reason for the high price I would assume. He does have a lot of reviews. Profiles that have a price of "ask" I tend to stay clear of. IMHO this is a red flag that this will not be a legit therapeutic massage.

I think it's been well established and now well documented thats both Rentmasseur and Rentmen rely on deceptive practices as their buisness model. I think it's important to both let these businesses know our dissatisfaction as user AND to use alternatives that don't alter/deletion reviews and post links here. Some feedback is subjective but some can be quite important when making a decision of whom to let into your home.

Thats why I have been PM'ed about a masseur and the want me to go into all sexual stuff. I won't. 1) im private 2) I don't want to say yeah we did this and that then to find out the guy i told it doesn't happen - and he gets all mad at me...

At first I was going to disagree with you. But then I thought of that HUGE controversy with the gay couple getting married and the bakery wouldn't bake them a cake. My $.02 to the couple - goto another baker, this one clearly doesn't want your business. Give your money to someone who wants it, appreciates it and will earn it!!!
