May be my point did not come across well. I gave examples of situations which I personally experienced that led me to leave at least partly fake reviews because I had no recourse. So, this could be the reason why some people leave fake reviews. It is also possible that competitors in a shared market leave bad reviews for each other.

You assumed the communication was not on the RM messenger. It started there and moved to texting via phone. RM did accept the review..but to fit it within the options they provide, some parts had to be faked. Because if I choose 'meeting did not happen', RM generally does not accept the review.
