I had not been to a Manhattan spa in a while because of what I had read about up-selling, lousy facilities, and bad service. Yesterday I decided to give 27 Men Spa a try, and my expectations were greatly exceeded.

Yes, the rooms were all small, but they were clean and at the right temperature. The music was not too loud. Prices (especially with the summer discounts and specials on their web site) were reasonable. All in all, I was very pleased with my experience here.

I finally made an account on here because I'm thinking about giving escorting a try. I'll give some info about myself and why I'm thinking of this.

My first date practice is to meet for coffee in the mid afternoon. It’s a lot more casual and less expensive than going to a restaurant or bar. My reaction was fair and initially said the rate was too high. He went down to 350. If your contention is i was haggling over his rate by stating my limit was 300 so I guess your correct. However his rate really isn't 400 now is it?

Out of curiosity, why does it bother anybody who said it does if a provider is willing to lower their rate to make the deal, for lack of a better term? I get the mentality from the provider POV in a way.
 
I’ve lowered my rate for some clients when they’ve asked me to, as long as it’s not drastically lower from my norm (I only charge $200 an hour, which I think is pretty low here in NYC but since I’m new and there’s so many available escorts in the market). Now I’ll say I’ve ended conversations with guys who asked for me to only take half my rate and were speaking to me in a very rude way. But somebody who is speaking to me nicely and asking me to shave a few bucks off, and may turn into a regular customer? I’m willing to work with that.
